Maybe I'm just a private oerson, but even a woman talking about me like I was a sex god would feel like a breach of trust.

Do you think most women who share details about their sex lives/partners have had a discussion about what their partner is willing to have shared about them? For the record I think it's tacky when men talk about their sex lives and partners and don't for a second believe the women in their lives know or would be happy with what they share.

I don't think my opinion is particularly relevant in these discussions, but I'd consider that a breach of trust, not a trust-issue.

I'd say I'm average at best, I get what you're getting at and maybe this'll make me sound conceited, but I think I just have a bit of a magnetic personality. You know how you sometimes meet people and something about the way they talk and how they carry themselves draws you in? That's how people seem to see me, I'm quite introverted though and find people want to spend more time with me than I want to spend with people and when everyone wants your time it's hard to judge under what pretense.

I agree and don't think it can be debated that social skills help, but I agree with OP that there is a seperate "it" that men need and I've known men of all ranges of social skills, even very obviously autistic men, who manage to date. What do I struggle with? I guess reading the signs and flirting, escalation etc. I just assumed that the woman I cooked for and so on saw me as a friend and had no idea she had a thing for me until years later when she drunkenly told me. That made me think back on…

I don't think being friends with women is as big a help with dating skills as some people seem to believe and some of the biggest players I know treat every woman like a potential conquest rather than friends. I've always found friendships easy to form with both men and women and I'd say that the friends that have been most pro-active about spending time with me, inviting me to parties and so on, have been women; with male friends I often end up being the one "rounding up the boys" as it were. I…

Yeah people have a rose tinted view of the military. mandatory service, seeing the rates of infidelity and how people in the military actually behave, will just red/black pill more men, not solve their dating problems. I also did 8 years, still a virgin in my mid 30s.

I served 8 years in the military and don't really agree with this. I think any job where interacting with people is an essential part of it would have as much benefit. I'm introverted, but not shy or anxious, the military didn't magically make me an extrovert. I could order people around, give briefs etc no worries, but those are not really skills that help with seduction. I also think any guy who is on the shy/insecure side has as much chance of being brought out of his shell as he does being f…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
