Where did I criticize women for not matching with men they don’t want to date. Please quote where i said that because im almost 100% sure i said the complete opposite.

Why are you ignoring my response that I said I have no problem going to grab a drink with a guy I don’t know just to hang out?

Who said anything about that?

I’d whole disagree with that definition. To me this is something that someone who thinks they’re nice would say when in reality they are either secretly hoping for something I return but are too embarrassed to say it or are doormats. I read a great book called “No more Mr.Nice Guy” which is a psychological and sociological look into the mind of a nice guy and this is one of the first thing he identifies as why “nice guys” become “nice guys”. Many nice guys internalize this idea of what it means …

In your opinion, what is a “real” good/nice guy?

Thank you for saving time the time of reading this

Ah so you are homophobic! Yeah glad we reached that consensus cause this discussion makes far more sense now
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 12:59 AM

I don’t date men. Are you homohobic?

How are women being oppressed by the government? Let me guess you’re gonna invoke the abortion debate ignoring that no one is legally forcing women to have sex and get pregnant? Note: your downvotes don’t answer the question

Yeah fuck all those women who are actively serving in the military. They’re just a burden to their male counterparts and we’d be better off without them

Or maybe they just don’t care that much about those topics or online dating in general? The problem here is not the person with the “generic” profile it’s Op

No one is saying you have to have random talks with these people and these people aren’t forcing you to have random chats. The great thing about these apps? You aren’t force to interact with these people in anyway shape or form so it’s ultimately a nonissue

That doesn’t make sense. I don’t find men attractive so even if they did appear in my feed I wouldn’t swipe in them. Try harder Oh but to answer your question yeah I would be open to spending time with a guy . In fact, a few months ago while coming out of 711 I was having a conversation with a guy and he invited me to grab a drink at a bar nearby. We went chatted, drank and it turned out he lived at the end of my street and was into fostering cats. We still go grab drink every now and then. So w…

Ah yes. Because being open to the ideas and experiences of others is not having boundaries. I’m sure you’re great on a date

Yeah my bio used to be “I like it when a girl swallows watermelon seeds. It shows she’s not a picky eater”. The joke is that looking at it from the preview it just shows “I love it when a girl swallows”. Got a lot of matches who loved it and like 2 who were legitimately angry and matched just to call a misogynist

Someone not putting something in their profile that you don’t personally like isn’t generic. It just means you don’t like it and doesn’t interest you. That doesn’t mean someone else may not be interested in that who is more what they’re looking for

You seem to have this idea that men are creating their profile specifically to attract you not the woman they want. They aren’t hiding anything by not talking about things that are unimportant to them. The great thing about that is if you don’t like this you simply don’t match with them and move on about your day

Sure. Or maybe she meets a guy who decides he doesn’t actually want children.are you under the impression that the person you date will be the exact same person for the rest of the time you’re together. Seems a bit boring to me Like I said to OP, If you want your partner based on a resume of what you want that’s fine but that’s not how most people operate and it’s a bit unreasonable especially because the assumption is that these people want you in the first place. How about instead of expecting…

What’s the point of you debating me on reddit? What’s the point of you playing video games? What’s the point of a guy taking a girl on a date if she’s not gonna have sex with him after If your time is so important than you can’t waste a single moment of it sitting down to dinner to speak with someone who has different thoughts and beliefs than yours then you’re not only wasting your time here on Reddit but will be wasting a lot of time with dating anyway. If that answer wasn’t direct enough, it’…

The problem is that this assumes that online dating is like any other economic market and the one person is a buyer and another person is a seller when both people buyers and sellers. The average egg product is the same price, quality and size. You’re not checking nutrition facts or where it’s sourced from you just want eggs as the average person. But now let’s say you pick up the eggs, the eggs observe you and say “nah you don’t look like you can cook so you can’t buy us”? It also assumes that …

You know there’s this thing called…dating and…getting to know someone right? Anyone with a modicum of self respect won’t feel the need to parade themselves amongst strangers and hope they get chosen or some people call it being a “pick me”

The unfortunate part is this seems to be an increasing thing on dating apps. Most apps from women that I see don’t say anything about who they are it’s just what they want

Applicable story. I decided to be more firm in my profile at one point and put that I was looking. For someone who was active and wanted to hit the gym with me at least a couple days a week and loved to dance. I got so many super likes….of women insulting me and simply accusing me of fat shaming and womansplaining how weight isn’t a indication of fitness

As a marketer, I would love hear your theory on why marketing 101 makes sense as an online dater, especially considering the actually marketing department of the app is actively working against you.

I remember once I was done with Tinder so all I did was set my height to 6’5”, and say I was looking for someone who wants to sail on my dad’s yatch. Didn’t change my pics or anything Not only did I get a ridiculous amount of real matches in a week but the majority of them messaged first asking about the yatch
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 10:29 PM

The short answer is: you’re a stranger. The long answer is I think this really goes to how terribly social media is having an effect on our society. There’s this wild concept of meeting people, going on dates and figuring out what you like and possibly shifting what you want in someone based on other factors you may not have known about. It doesn’t sound like you’re looking to date and learn about someone it sounds you’re looking for a resume that fits your standards and to be fair there’s nothi…
