meet a few middle aged women who gave up career, had kids, he divorced her when the kids were grown. Now she is stuck with a destroyed body, no income or chance to make a real living, and kids. OR she can get an education, make money, stay in shape and have fun

Its a bad deal for a woman too! Now, she gives up a career, the most generous state for alimony caps it at 33%, so 1/3 of what he makes and she only gets 1/2 of assets acquired. She is much better off not marrying and having any kids. A woman is better off having a real career unless the guy is loaded. Now, if all she can do is household chores, then wife/mother is her best option. But otherwise, she needs to make an actual living instead of settling for 1/3 of what he was capable of, not wreck …
