Subs (and I guess groups of people in general) eventually lose all the nuance that was originally intended. This one started as "bad thing happening to entitled woman who thought she could get away with something because she's a woman" Now it's just "bad things happening to women". Honestly, it was bound to happen from the start.

She is unintelligent because of what she's doing and saying, not how she says it. I also wasn't talking about her specifically, because my point was that dialect doesn't dictate intelligence. As dumb as she is, there are plenty of people who speak exactly like her, but are smarter than me or you.

The only reason they sound unintelligent to you is because the way they speak has been stigmatized. Language is an ever-evolving thing, and the rules change based on where you learned it. There is no real "proper" way to speak, but there are people who have convinced themselves that their way is the right one.

There are these things called accents and dialects. Most languages have them, especially widespread ones. It can be hard to understand an accent or dialect if you're not familiar with it. I could understand them just fine.

It sucks that you've had such a different experience with the group than I have. I personally speak up when I see racism, regardless of who it's coming from. Being a white (looking) guy who grew up in a mostly black neighborhood, I have been on the receiving end of racism on multiple levels, and seen it happen to others. These people exist in all groups, and 100% need to be called out, which I can say happens much more in the BLM space than the MAGA one. I appreciate you sharing your experiences…

The vast majority of BLM are not racist, they're simply trying to point out injustice. Anti BLM is definitely headlined by racists, though, with many who are manipulated into speaking against their own best interests. I agree that men need more health focus. I also think this statistic doesn't tell the whole story. Throughout history, men had been the ones in dangerous positions in the workplace, and had the healthiest ones selected to go to war. I wonder how this affects the statistics. Conversely, men tend not to have strong support groups built later in life. Statistics are nice, but they simply very complicated issues.
