Only real benefits I can think of; is medical decisions. Of your other gets sick, it becomes easier to make decisions for them if they can’t do it themselves. And death, by default your spouse gets everything. But in the last decade or two these have gotten easier. Especially if listed as a partner.

How about looking at it this way. She is out working with clients. Landing business with customers. One big customer is teetering for and against the company. She has shown that she has the morals to potentially sleep with them to try to get their business. This puts the company in an awkward position. What if she tries and they refuse? You could lose that big contract forever. There are business ethics involved here; and you don’t cross the line. She has shown she is willing to cross that line.

Really depends on how you ask. If you say, “let me take you out to eat” you’re implying you’re paying. If you say “let’s go out to eat” you should assume you’re paying your own way. That being said. For critical things, such as police, firemen, military, etc, you have physical requirements defined. Those who pass get in, those who don’t, don’t. No compensation for gender.
