1	What is it like to have children? A career and DIY skills are nice to have, but certainly not essential before having children. Neither of those are directly relevant to raising children anyway. 0	What is it like to have children? If you're that sort of a person anyway, why will time change things? Additional life experience living without a child will not prepare you for life with a child. The marriage of somebody who parades their child on social media to virtue signal was probably doomed from the start... But, I'd argue that having a child is likely a reason that parents stay together. -1	What is it like to have children? Statistically, the longer a woman waits to conceive, being able to have children becomes exponentially more unlikely. The chances that the child is born with a disease also rapidly increase with time. Waiting for some subjective level of "maturity" is actually immature, if having children is a goal for a couple.
