| 11 | Divorced and FiredJust went through the same thing over the past 2 years. Wife accused me of a false CDV Aug 18, 2024 & filed for divorce on the 21st after I learned about her affair. I lost my business (7mm/ year commercial GC), my house, & my identity. Fast forward 2 years & I have primary custody of my 3 boys, a job I love, a girlfriend who’s actually nice to me, & peace when I get home. Get in therapy, start working out, & drink your water. | 7 | What was the point of it all?When in doubt, do what is in the best interest of your kids. Regardless of whether you’re recognized or not, you’ll be able to say- beyond a doubt- that you put the kids first. Sometimes that’s going to suck, you’re going to be lonely, doubting yourself, & praying to god you did the right thing, but if you know that it was 100% for those little creatures who don’t deserve the adult issues they’ve been given, it’ll be easier to sleep at night. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/26 07:19 PM |
