My goal was not to dismiss myself of the blame but you're mistaken if you think that culture and tradition has nothing to do with the fact that around 80% of Americans make the same decision I did. What an eye opening thread. I had both of my boys circumcised mostly because that is what I thought you were supposed to do. I also remember being kind of weirded out dating a guy that was uncircumcised. I usually fancy myself as a very progressive person but the issues this thread has brought up have literally never crossed my mind. How offended would I be if a guy was weirded out by the natural form of my body? Shame on our society
