I've definitely seen that happen where men don't get taken seriously :/ but in my experience it seems that everyone has began to grow apathetic towards each other, people have made jokes about things that happened to me in the past too. it seems like most of these problems you and I are describing are universal

i agree with the legal part, however that only benefits those who seek to gain for themselves while taking from someone else, which I could never bring myself to do. that leaves me with general societal problems, which for me mostly consists of being treated like im incapable, or people trying to get in my business and ask why I'm not married and other things like that. also in my culture, when a boy is married, he's still part of his family, but when a girl is married, it's seen as sending her …

sorry but maybe my culture is different because a lot of what you're saying doesn't apply in my experience. for us, both men and women are encouraged to fight, and the circumcision isn't common. but i do see where you're coming from with the persecution for violence. however, in my culture many people are disappointed when they have a daughter instead of a son, and we tend to get treated very differently than our brothers. also, many people seem to be a lot more comfortable with disrespecting us…
