0	Why is categorical thinking so prominent in these spaces? It's because for the most part, it's true. The world is mostly black and white for any practical purposes. 1	CMV: The most reasonable explanation for the disparity between the number of young men and women who report being single is that women are "sharing" the most desirable men. There's no point in socializing. People pick the best individuals to be around and don't look further. I'm pretty sure there are studies that show, that most friend groups have 1 central person to the group, through whom everybody is connected. So really, everyone is friends with them and not even eachother. I play lots of video games. God knows i'd rather do something else.
