Should we stop calling people tits then? Cause that really isn't going to down to well in Britain.. Or what if your best mate is called Richard, but shortens it to dick because you're tom, and your other best mate is harry. Now you're tom dick and harry, but what if dick was being a right dick and you said it his name in the wrong context, is that now wrong? Or, we could just use the word cunt, tit or dick however we damn well please because pandering to peoples feelings never gets anywhere.

If he meets violence with violence, he's probably going to get his ass kicked. I can't guarantee that route will work, but it worked for me. And we're not saying that women doing "x,y and z" are more likely to be raped, we're saying "If you're doing x (drinking) try not to y (go off alone with a stranger you just met) and if you can don't go out without z (friend/self defense/pepper spray etc). That doesn't mean that if you do x, y and without z you will be raped, but it will be statistically higher. Statistics don't lie, interpretation of them does but that is another story.

Well I suppose we will have to agree to disagree. I have no rebuttal to that because I haven't experienced that personally (I don't post on Feminist subreddits because well, I don't agree with a lot of mainstream media feminist ideals). So a good day to you Sir/Madam, have a pleasant one :).

Well the same could be said "is an MRA mod capable of even-handedness on reddit" either you give both a chance and remove the ones who aren't able, or you give neither a chance and don't have mods. Selective inclusiveness based on what political movement you prescribe to on an internet forum designed to spark discussion is a terrible idea. Evidently the mod's are fair, if a bit heavy handed. And yes, my point about emulating them was straw man, and as such I apologise, it's been a long day. But …

I think it's fairly ignorant to write off someone purely because they identify as a feminist, same as it's ignorant to write someone off for identifying as a MRA.

Was also selfishness on her part, to spend $30,000 without any communication with the husband, so in the end they're both being selfish and getting no-where. Better communication, and more of it, would have prevented this issue between them. I kind of hope that more people can learn how important communication is in relationships =/. Hoping it ends up working out for them though.
