Such a weird movie. Apparently Kubrick played cruise and Kidman against each other during the whole thing. The guy she wanted to cheat with was dressed exactly like some high level Scientology asshole who dresses like a navy seal in real life, and it's rumored she actually did sleep with that real life dude. Kubrick is sort of an asshole but he gets the emotions he wants.

The covid thing really opened my eyes and made me realize Alex Jones is probably right about a lot of stuff. Back in January 2020, Trump was talking about a "Chinese virus" that was a huge problem that had to be stopped. He introduced some basic travel restrictions. The media, Joe Biden, and Justin Trudeau all said that attempts to contain a pandemic are racist. You can still see this on Biden's twitter feed - check February 1, 2020. I got spooked and sold all of my investments in mid february. …

Try getting a prescription for mirtazapine. It's an antidepressant that causes really hardcore sleep. It's absolutely life changing. When I was flying back and forth across the country, I could brute force my sleep schedule to anything I wanted. Need to sleep at 9am and wake up at 5pm for work? No problem. Need to change back to day shift on the following monday? No problem.

But that does happen all the time. It disgusts me because it makes all men look bad when a woman is saying something of value and all of the comments are about appearance. I remember a video where a fairly unattractive woman was explaining the BTRFS file system, and lots of the comments were from retards attacking how she looked.

You'll also consume a lot more coffee. Black coffee? Of course not; it'll be coffee with tons of cream and sugar to mask the taste of really bad (cheap) coffee. For years, I thought caffeine caused mood instability, but it was actually the sugar I put in my coffee. Taking a caffeine pill is nothing like drinking a coffee that has 8 packets of sugar in it.

That is the whole point. You activate your immune system (fever, chills, coughing) to train the immune system. If you don't get extremely sick from a vaccine, it either means you have AIDS or you were injected with a placebo. I got real fucking sick from the Hep B vaccine but that's how it goes. Better than getting the real thing. For some shit like flu at age 30, the vaccine is just a waste of time because the flu will not kill you at that age.

Poor people are not the best at planning ahead (buying bulk), so poor alcoholics would probably buy single bottles. Look at the stuff you see in Walmart. Everything is tiny but cheap. $3 for a tiny jar of mayo or something, but the cost per gram is really high. Just replace mayo with alcohol and it's the same thing - they would buy lots of small amounts instead of one large amount like a box.

The inflation isn't some theoretical thing over the horizon. You're in it right now. You see it in real estate prices. You see it in stock prices. People instinctively know that something is wrong when the price of food is always rising. There's no rush to buy bread and thus cause $1000 bread, but there is a real rush to get savings out of cash and into something tangible. And it's not 1990 anymore; every single car on the road is a fast car. My 2006 Honda Civic (base model) would govern at 125mph, so what's the real purpose of buying a car with 400hp? I loved that civic. It even felt stable at high speeds. In contrast, I drove a 1990 compact car that felt like it was going to explode when moving faster than about 55mph. It only had 3 gears and the top speed was ~70mph.

And if you understand the game, you can make it so others are paying you. In this case, inflation. I know Peter Schiff gets a lot of shit for being wrong about a lot of things, but one thing that stuck with me was that he said free market interest rates should be sky high right now. If a country or a person is deep in debt, people should be less willing to lend money because they know it is less likely to be paid back. Overcome? The best way to win a fight that is unwinnable is to avoid such a fight. Many years later, I learned that this is known as Fabian Tactics. I've seen this too many times. A few close friends and several family members experienced this. Raised by single mothers until age 18 then kicked out immediately. Their justification for this systematic form of lying was to "inform" women that child predators troll these dating sites looking for single mothers so they can gain access to their children for nefarious purposes That's actually a thing. It was even the plot to the book Lolita (1955) which became a Kubrick film (1962). Remember last year how health officials in spain explicitly told women not to hold a large rally on international women's day, and they did it anyway, and then Spain saw a parabolic explosion in cases about 2 weeks later? The incubation time of covid is about 2 weeks but I'm sure it's purely a coincidence.

My brother was dating a moron who did this. She was earning about $80k per year (that's a crazy high amount in this area) and she had to cash out some of her retirement fund to pay down some things. In Canada, money that is taken out of your RRSP (like an IRA) is permanent; you can't just re-contribute it next year or the year after. That's a permanet loss of tax-free investment growth. She was like 35 too, so that's late in the game to be fucking up on a grand scale.

Exactly this. If it's a case where the person did what they are accused of but you don't believe they did anything wrong, you keep your mouth shut and say not guilty. You are not obligated to send a person to jail for jaywalking or selling loose cigarettes.

If kids enjoy Pepe as a character, they could start to immitate him, and that's not a good thing. Try to avoid top down investing like that. A good investment is not just a good idea. It's a good idea at a good price. You could say that banks and insurance companies are the biggest scams ever and would therefore would be great investments, but they're not great investments if they trade at 40x earnings. Getting a good company at a horrible price is still a horrible investment. As for top down ideas, I'm thinking stuff like Pfizer, Merck, Gilead. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_…

I believe the more mathematically descriptive an economic phenomena, the more useful it becomes The problem is that methods of measuring economic things tend to be flawed to the point where they are completely meaningless. For example, war drives GDP up. Anyone with a tiny amount of common sense would realize that standards of living are plunging when women are drawing on their legs with a felt pen to give the impression they are wearing real stockings because the war has caused a shortage of st…

All of the things I listed are called microeconomics. Reddit's sub for economics consists of plebs who study macroeconomics. Right wing people tend to agree with microeconomics because it accurately describes the world you see with your own eyes. The beauty about inflation is that it shows up in asset prices way more than it shows up in consumer prices. Inflation is basically a massive transfer of wealth from consumers to investors. If you save and invest, you'll see your investments grow 300% while the things you buy every day only go up 100%, and that's great. It might look stupid, but this is actually a well crafted plan to destroy the US. People who have jobs know that $3,000 is nothing, so it has no effect on their birth rates. People who live on welfare and can't spell their own name think $3,000 is a lot of money, so it will boost their birth rates. I also argue that black men should not be arrested for hitting white women because crime is power plus priviledge, and black men do not have power.

Is it just me or is age a much bigger thing today than it was in the past? My parents got married when they were 33, and that was decades ago. When I was younger adult, I never really thought of older women as being bad partners. They might be less attractive, but bad partners? Nah. They were interesting, they had life experience, and they were generally pleasant to be around. Today, older women are damaged. Women who are old enough to have a decade of twitter feminism under their belt just seem…

True, but then we learned during the great depression that having a hard gold standard can lead to systemic bank failure. Everyone is in a mad rush to get their money (gold) out of the bank first. so everyone pulls everything out of every bank. That causes all kinds of other problems. It suddenly becomes difficult or impossible to get loans due to a shortage of cash, which could be paper cash or it could be digital cash. That then leads to waves of margin calls and loan defaults. It's kind of am…

It could mean that women lost more than 1 job. Back when Obamacare was going into effect, I remember a lot of people complaining that their hours were slashed so they were no longer considered full time employees. Lots of people ended up having 2 part time jobs instead of 1 full time job.

But it's true. Lots of women are choosing to be single. A lot are forced into being single, but lots genuinely choose being single. They seem invisible to you because those women are not attention whores. You won't see them post on social media because their brain isn't wired to seek constant attention.

Many women will find some way to make it more difficult than it should be. One of my exes had probably a dozen different soaps and shower gels just for washing herself, and she would have some complex reason for doing this. I used the same dish soap for dishes, hands, bubble bath, floors, toilets, and washing the cat. It worked great for every one of those tasks. You can only imagine how complicated laundry would get if you insist on using different soaps and temperatures for each piece of cloth…

How many of these problems are self inflicted by bad parenting and bad social skills? For example, my parents had a pretty reasonable approach to laundry. If you want your laundry folded, fold it yourself. If you want it ironed, iron it yourself. If you want it washed or dried a certain way, you do it yourself. If you want your clothes washed, they must be in the basket. Shit you leave on the floor will be thrown into your room for you to deal with; it will never be put into the basket for you. …

The video has a throwaway line about seeking acceptance from the people around you. That has some interesting implications. If you are 20, most people you meet in real life will be older than you, so you would seek acceptance from older people who are telling you to save your money, buy a home, have kids, etc. Now that we have social media, the people you want acceptance from could very likely be the same age as you or younger. An entire engineering office now has 1 receptionist, and the office i worked at eventually got rid of that job too. Fathers in the past were alpha types who get married, have kids, etc. You probably think very highly of your own dad. If your dad was in today's environment, he would not get married or have kids. He would work the same career and network his way up the ladder, but he wouldn't need to think about family time.

This happened to my ex. She got sucked into Twitter feminism, said she was non binary, started taking T, is saving for tit removal. She is now very poor, is married to a guy who is also poor. My friends and I keep track of her Twitter because you can actually see her mental health based on how often she posts. When she was on antipsychotic drugs, she didn't post at all. When she is manic, she posts over 100 times per day.

Yes and this has been confirmed repeatedly. The measured black IQ in the US is about 85. The measurered black IQ in Sub-Saharan Africa is about 80. Black Americans are some of the richest people on the planet (making $19/h puts you in the global 1%). This means the difference between the richest people and the poorest people is only 5 points. Therefore, it seems extremely likely that genetics accounts for the entity of that 85 IQ.

Like the doctor's education, those tools only have value in the context of them being used to generate income. This is why IFRS makes a clear distinction between historical book value and "available for sale" value. The second you decide to sell the tools, their value would be marked down to maybe 1k and it would be recognized as a 14k writedown (loss). The doctor's education would be considered an intangible asset and would be held at book value until she decides to stop working.

He looks 10 years younger. Good for him. I don't see a problem with her. She was that size when he liked her, so she should stay that size.

Sucks. He doesn't understand how unattractive this behavior is. Even if he were good looking, this is bad.

Look up milf porn stars and their ages. A lot of them are under 30. The opposite happens too - a TV show about high school where the actors are like 40

IMDB's bell curve says 2016 ghostbusters is about a 6. I haven't seen it, but that sounds reasonable. 6 is watchable but very flawed. 5 gets into unwatchable. 2-3 is so bad that it's funny. Men rated it 4.9. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt The kitchen is basically the same. Men rated it 4.9. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5822564/ratings?ref_=tt_ov_rt I should include a link to the curve for a movie that is so bad that it becomes awesome. The Room is split between 10/10 …

That means it is good. Critics are retards but audiences have nothing to gain by lying. Imdb has it at 5/10.i find that imdb is pretty accurate when you look at the ratings and pick the mode of the bell curve.

They said nuclear power releases sulfate and nitrate pollution (acid rain). Calling the Simpsons anti environmental would be an understatement because the alternative is coal which actually does cause acid rain. I'll never understand why the left likes coal so much. They say they hate it, but their actions say otherwise.

Ha I see that too. Guy literally screaming and slamming a pipe with a wrench in frustration but then he sounds extra polite so people don't think he is mad at them.

Why do men send unsolicited dick pics? It's because men are turned on by pictures of the opposite sex and they think, "I'd love it if a woman send me naked pictures of her, therefore I'm going to send a dick pic" Even that is wrong. Guys don't want vagina pics. They want pics of things like ass and tits. If a guy was using logic, he would send her pictures of his ass and chest. Even the perspective is wrong. You don't take tit pictures by looking down. You take them by looking at a mirror.

My skin got better when I stopped putting soap on it. I guess a small amount of oil is there to keep bacteria out of pores. Sort of like how using concentrated dish soap on your hands can dry them out.

It's just a prop, probably foam. I seriously doubt they put a block of real iron on a stick. Iron has a density close to 8g per cubic cm (it's 8x heavier than water). Let's say the block is 6 inches on each side. That would be ((6 inch)(2.54 cm/inch))^3 = 3539 cubic cm, a bit smaller than a gallon. Multiply by 8 = 28,312g = about 62 pounds. It would be about as heavy as a car battery.

They're mostly good. If more people were on drugs, you wouldn't see people doing retarded shit like blowing their life savings in an attempt to find a girlfriend. You wouldn't see women trying to have a baby just to fill some void in their life. Another one that drives me nuts is people who buy stuff to fill that void. My mom is constantly renovating her house, and I've seen other women do the same. They can blow through a lifetime of savings in just a few years after their husband dies. I alway…

Nah, black people have significantly lower rates of depression than white people. This is likely related to a mutation of an MAO-A gene that is much more common in black people, and that has also been tied to increased crime. Fun fact: the first antidepressants were MAO inhibitors. They are also the most effective antidepressants, but they are considered a last resort because they are so powerful. If you have the wrong personality type, the potential mania from an MAOI can cause things like gamb…

That must be an interesting job. You are the part time worker trying to parse these comments and it's stuff like "show X has too many white men" or "space aliens said they'll eat my brain" I should start filling in more interesting comments when I have nothing important to say. Why are you uninstalling firefox: "I just want some black dick in my ass right now."
