Most def get back to therapy! Talk to your doctor because if you have depression you should probably discuss getting on meds to help with anxiety and sleep which are common during a divorce. I am four months in and been in therapy all four months and will stay in therapy after this is all done. This morning i told my therapist “i guess time does heal” and she responded with “no, hard work heals!” Meaning working on myself is what is making me heal. I run almost daily have lost 60 pounds, weekly …

Only concern is the other person you are seeing. Be honest with her. Everyone here has a fucked up story to tell and hate their ex lol I say do what makes you happy at the moment because life is too fucking short! If getting back with her brings you years of happiness and later more hurt then so be it! Thats life! Live it to the fullest and regret nothing as at some point it made you happy. Tomorrow isnt promise to no one so live how you want and be happy. Me personally though i couldnt go back …

Dont leave! You have every right to stay. She can leave in two months if she wants. Start logging all interactions that are hostile, trust me on this!!! And be very careful with allegations like abuse that can come next if she starts getting ugly.

Three months of separation. One of the hardest things i am going through. Two weeks of barely getting out of bed. Turned on a switch and started running everyday 3 miles and up to 5 a day now, implemented OMAD and i have lost 50 pounds. Working out is key to keep your mind clear and not go insane. Today i ran twice b/c my anxiety was through the roof. Do therapy too. Therapy has helped me in ways i had no clue it could help. Read books or listen to audio books on how to move on and healing proce…

To be fair you agreed to the separation. Make it clear “we are separated but not allowed to date anyone if we are to maybe work on things” i read everyones comments but ima say do what you think is best for you and your family. Fight for her if thats what you want and feel what is best for you and your kids. Its easy for everyone to say “move on” b/c they are not emotionally invested and it is not their family breaking apart. Only you know if she really wants to work on things or not. The going …

Nah bro dont tell dad but do tell the other guys wife b/c she deserves to know what he has been doing. Emotions are high and you want to hurt her but telling will get you nothing. Kill her with kindness and act like you give no fucks and move on with your life. Plus, dont do anything that can affect you getting this divorce finalize. Trust me when i tell you that if you take the high road it will hurt her more to see you have no reaction and couldnt give a fuck about her. Stay strong and sorry y…

Bruh she living with the new bf and you still have to think about it? Fuck that shit! Move on, man! She cant be getting dick down somewhere else and get her fill and then come back to what she considers a safety net. Best you can do is move on and look for a girl who will appreciate you and value what you have to offer.

Dont leave the house! And fucking absolutely get a lawyer! I hate to say it but she is out for blood if she flipped out that bad b/c you talked to a lawyer to know what your options are. Working it out without lawyers means give me what i want and there wont be any trouble lol shit turns ugly real fucking quick so lawyer up and and stay put! She wants the divorce so she can leave the house. Good luck my friend and take care of yourself mentally and physically bc this will be a hard journey.

Yup! Mine left and got a emergency order of protection and all of a sudden i was abusive and controlling for 12 years. Two months in and one of those i couldnt have contact with my kids. Get ready for an ugly expensive ass battle. They turn in to someone you can no longer recognize.

Fuck all that!!! Live and show her you can be better without her!!!! No bitch is worth taking your life over!!! Stay strong and think for a minute what taking your life will do to people around you. Life is a precious thing that many wish they had more time of to enjoy. Dont cut yours short b/c of something that is extremely hard right now. With time things will get better and who knows what life changing thing can come your way for the better.

Harsh but true! Once she has filed its over boys! Fight to win or get fucked! Especially if you have kids. In my experience women take months thinking about the divorce and go through the emotions so by the time they filed, they are way ahead emotionally and in a better mental state then when you get hit with divorce papers. Go full force and fight to get a fair deal on martial assets and child(ren).

Dude! If she wont sign a prenup to me thats a res flag! Dont marry her. I married thinking it was for life and 6 years later i am getting fucked with half. My retirement, stocks and crypto accounts that i build throughout the years with hard work and educating myself. Now she will take half without making any contribution to my portfolios. Again, prenup or dont marry her.

10k in and its only been two months. She wont agree to 50/50 custody and i will not consider any less! I will sell everything i own before i lose my kids. So yeah, mine will probably be expensive and i still run the risk of not getting 50/50 custody of my kids.

People do dumb shit when they in love. Dont ever be ashamed for fighting for what you thought was best at the time.

Im going to take a different approach here. Life is a risk and if your heart still loves her and you believe she has changed go for it. You deserve to be happy and if she makes you happy for years to come or whatever time why not? Tomorrow is promise to no one. We are here one day and gone the next so while i say move cautiously no one here knows her but you. Do you believe she has changed? Can you trust her again? Is the happiness she will give you for x amount of time worth it if things dont w…

Dude!!!! Keep 50/50. find another job that is more flexible. You can always talk to grandma on what you need from her and to respect your wishes regarding the kids, so you dont have to give up 50/50. I am currently fighting for 50/50 and i would leave everything to make it happen. My buddy was in your position and took 30/70 and now that his kids are older its rough for him b/c his kids always remind him how he was always working instead of with them. I hope you dont give your 50/50 and instead …

50/50!!!! I cant stress this enough!!!! Kids will grow up to be resentful you werent around much. Plus you will bust you ass only to have to pay more child support and maintenance. Instead get 50/50 and spend that time with your kids. Kids need their father as much as they need their mother. 4/3-4/3 or even 1 week on and one off should work. Bring options to the table to show your flexibility. Again fight for what is best for your kids and get 50/50. Not doing so will end up costing you in the l…

Get a prenup and look into having a custody agreement ahead of time if you plan on having kids should a divorce happen. Better to be prepared then have to go through all the headaches if things dont work out in a marriage. Shit gets ugly especially if one cheated.

Best guess she is entitled to equity earned during the marriage since she helped pay for it. Everything before the marriage is solely yours. So what ever you paid during those four years is yours and would probably have to do 50/50 on year five and up only.

To be fair you cheated bro! Actions have consequences. You risk it all for what? Live and learn my friend. That being said you wont feel like this forever. You will eventually find someone who will love you and make you happy. When that time comes cherish that love and respect it and dont waste it by cheating. Learn from your failed marriage and what you felt was missing and communicate with your partner instead of looking outside your relationship. If you are in a relationship and feel the need…

Something was screaming at me to look at her phone when she left it charging one day and i found very detailed texts going back 6 months. So she was so confortable with how much i trusted her she didnt even bother deleting text.

No. We were good until she starting having the affair. I notice something was off but never did i think she would be capable of cheating. Stupid me for being so blind.

This gives me hope! Wife is asking for child support, spousal support, medical insurance and be the sole decision maker for both our kids. She makes 13k more than me, she is the one who cheated and is claiming i was abusive for 12 plus years, which makes no sense. Why marry me and have two kids with me if i am such a horrible person. We dated for 6 before we got married.
