I've always felt BMI gave too wide of a range anyway. For example, at my height the range is 152 - 205 lbs. I'm literally in the dead center of this range, so perfect by BMI standards. I've never weighed less than 165 in my adult life, I think if I dropped to 152 something would be majorly wrong / probably sick.
