Look, if my husband, as a broke ass college student at the time, could buy a plane ticket to visit me for the first time in another country when we were younger, this guy can buy you dinner.

I definitely would consider a single dad a red flag.

Next time this happens, simply smile and say "I take pride in being your wife."

From the sounds of all this I really think he has a pornography addiction issue. Following models on social media is typically a red flag too.

I honestly think that the issues you're having in this marriage are well above a subreddit's pay grade. There is so much bitterness and resentment potentially coming from both sides that you might want to consider counselling.

I have a toddler and am 37 weeks pregnant. I promise it passes! 3rd trimester will be another kind of tiring but you'll get energy again once the nesting kicks in. Just make sure you give yourself as much rest as you can.

That's good. I always make sure to ask because a lot of my friends changed their minds about having kids once they come off bc. Imho you'll most likely want to have children a lot more the moment you find yourself a man you cherish and respect. I think some women feel like they lose themselves when they have children but the problem I see is that they all happen to center their lives around a career. That's no life. Cultivate your personal life and hobbies. Pick up a creative skill, get good at …

I told myself that I carried the looks of my mother, grandmothers and female ancestors. Their lineage carried on this far. Bear that with pride.

Men not liking pubic hair is due to pornography culture.

Helen Andelin wrote a lesser known book called the Fascinating Girl which addresses young single women on how to cultivate their inner femininity. Give it a look

It wasn't too tough but that's because I've been moving around internationally since I was a kid because of my dad's business. Lived in multiple Asian and European countries so I was used to adjusting to new environments. Husband and I marrying pretty much immediately when I moved in with him helped with the immigration process. I've seen people here say that you can't vet someone properly with an LDR and i'll tell them that it all depends on HOW you LDR.

Thank you! We're doing our best. I moved to his country of origin, we live in a very rural area and are homesteading so we're ready!

I also keep seeing men dumping entire collections of things because "the wife didn't like it". Is it really hard to just let a guy spend time the way he wants to as long as he doesn't shirk his duties? Another example, not quite hobby related : women getting rid of their S/Os favourite old ratty t shirt because they don't like the look of it

He's just really happy and thankful that I don't demean his hobbies (assembling and painting miniature armies), actively encourage him to get what he enjoys hobby wise and actually made an effort to be interested in it. I now enjoy it myself a lot and we do it /play together. Meanwhile his brother's fiancée wants her man to quit that hobby and acts annoyed when he spends time on it. Claims that it's a little boy's thing. My husband has gotten quite offended on his brother's behalf a good few tim…

I don't do it but my husband finds it really irksome that some of his friends' gfs/wives won't let them have hobbies, try to police them all the time or refuse to give their men space

Met mine online when we were in our early teens. Started an LDR when I was 15 and him 16. He flew over to visit me from the other corner of Europe when I was 18. Proposed on our first day spent together irl, that's also when we both first had sex. (I'm 25, married for over 5 years and a mom of 2 now)

I've found that fit and flare skirts are universally flattering as they emphasize on the waistline and create volume on the hips

Communicate, communicate, communicate. Have a serious talk to your husband about it. Express how you feel in the kindest way you can manage. You have this post - feel free to show it to him. It might be easier for him to understand how you feel about the issue. Your feelings might not be valid but that is up to you and your husband to determine, not a bunch of reddit strangers. I agree that that woman sounds like trouble. I would never impose myself in any way to another woman's husband and I de…
