And this is why I'm terrified of telling people what happened to me as a kid. Sure I think my friends would be accepting and kind, but there's always the chance of this shit happening.

So their solution to women not doing well in gender integrated debates is to segregate by gender. Brilliant.

Technically he wasn't enrolled in the school in the first place. They'd probably just call the cops on him.

This is actually the subject of the first episode of one of my favorite documentary series, Hjernevask a series where a Norwegian comedian asks questions about society to sociologists in Norway, then travels to big name universities such as Oxford and Harvard where the professors there will almost unanimously tell him the sociologists were idiots and that there is no backing whatsoever for their theories. Its subbed and all 7 episodes are available online for free, so I highly recommend the seri…

The throwdown usually works for me. Pick them up carry them to the bedroom and throw them on the bed. Just make sure you aim properly, this could easily backfire if you misjudge your strength.

My standard is to multiply by 2 or 3 depending on how generous I'm feeling.

So a total of 10 men (8 alphas + 2 betas) gives us what, 70% divorce risk? More if we assume multiple one night stands. Better hope that last guy is rich.

I have a Jezebel link to the same article if you'd prefer that. I think I'll stick with buzzfeed though.

What you are describing is the Latchkey kid phenomenon, and the fact that there is a name for it should tell you how widespread it was/is. "Gen Yer" here, and whenever I see the latchkey kid problem talked about its always in the past tense, like it was some great evil that has been eliminated but unless I live in a time warp it was still a very major factor for my Generation. Most everybody I talked to back in high school had the same story, they would come home to an empty house, their parents…

It's been pointed out here before, but MensRights has largely turned into the male equivalent of Feminism, people upset that they still have to abide by their gender roles. The frustration is understandable in my opinion, since western women have sacrificed their gender roles on the alter of modernity, but men sacrificing their gender roles is only going to lead to the same thing as women sacrificing their gender roles, that is complete disaster.

I remember seeing a Swedish documentary about why women aren't in those types of STEM fields and talking about gender differences in general, it was a really good show. Basically the main theory about why in the most gender equal country in the world still had 90% male engineers and 90% female nurses was that in free-er countries the natural differences between the sexes were more free to express themselves. only the first episode of the series was about gender differences, but the entire series…

He's older than me, but he really is the best boyfriend I've ever had. NO HE ISN'T YOU'RE JUST NAIVE I KNOW SO MUCH MORE ABOUT YOUR LIFE THAN YOU DO. ITS WEIRD THAT HE DOESN'T WANT OLD WRINKLED WOMEN WHEN HE COULD HAVE YOUNG ONES. The funniest thing is they are probably the first ones to start saying things like "love is blind" in any other scenario.
