I couldn't have put it better myself. There is /r/realmensrights but it's extremely small. Get in here and spread the word!

Is this really what this subreddit has turned to? I remember when the front page was filled with .self-posts and lots of discussion. This isn't the case anymore, what has happened here is exactly what happened to /r/atheism. Instead of actually discussing things and making things happen, what this subreddit is about is solely to find facebook-statuses and various low hanging fruits to bash. I mean what the fuck does this picture have to do with mens rights? It's a stupid status from a seemingly …

Why do you believe it's a "feminazi-third reich"?

Do you seriously think that these small things represents the country as a whole? The thing about how men sit on the bus is a blog post from a very small blogger, which caused a big media uproar because people found it so incredibly stupid. And I've never ever heard about the standing to pee-thing, and the article even says that pretty much the only one involved is "a feminist group at a Stockholm University". It's like if I were to think that the whole USA thinks that AIDS is God's way of curin…

I have never in any way stated that I agree with the image or that I believe victim-shaming to be worse than rape. Please, if you would just a little more attention to what you read we wouldn't have this discussion.

How am I in any way prioritizing victim shaming over rape prevention? I simply stated the idea behind the image OP posted.

If you could get a hundred people, then most likely it won't scale up, but it's a big difference between a few hundred people and a few million people.

This would be the case if we were talking about 2 or 3 people, and not several million. What you just described is pretty much the situation here in sweden too, not exactly perhaps, but we have something similar.

This image isn't supposed to be taken literal. I don't think it's a good image, but it's obviously supposed to be a backlash against the victim-shaming type of rape prevention tips (i.e. don't wear slutty clothes), and is therefore greatly exaggerated. Just want to point that out.

Why wouldn't it work with a much larger population?

I just want to clear some things up; No, this will never go through and become an actual law. The only ones supporting it are radical feminists, a small minority. No, Sweden isn't a feminazi-third reich. Sweden is one of the most gender-equal societies in the world. Pretty much every single comment on that article suggests that it's utter bullshit. We have one single political part that identifies themselves as feminist, and they're extremely small and insignificant.

Here's a counter-poster if someone's interested. Kind of a sloppy job, but if I see interest I can make it better.
/r/MensRights09/05/12 09:03 AM

Here's what I did real fast. If someone's really interested, I can improve/make more.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
