1	Double standards when it comes to the treatment of male and female vicitms of DV I think you don't know what privilege is, if in certain situations women benefit it doesn't outweigh the systematic privileges men have. There are so many factors that go into criminal sentencing so to simplify the issue on the basis of gender is unfair, e.g. women are most likely to be primary caregivers therefore juries will sympathise more. And to answer your question, it depends what job they go after, a maths graduate may very well end up becoming a shopkeeper and a gender studies graduate may go on to uncover ground breaking research.
