Male here, I was a regular contributor to both /r/feminisms and /r/MensRights until I was stealth-banned from /r/feminisms. Upon messaging the moderators about it, I was given a reply insulting my knowledge and experience on feminist matters. When I refuted the claims, I was simply ignored. I'd really like to contribute to certain issues on both sides of the debate, but even when my opinion is unpopular, MRAs have been much more understanding and willing to discuss the issue than feminists.

This is the second "kill switch" I've come across. The first? Marking a man as "Creepy." There's no way to come back from that - no retort, no niche where a creepy man is ok. Contrast this with the near-impossibility of a woman to be perceived as creepy - and even then, there is still a niche ("fetish?") for "creepy" or clingy girls.
