Going to be a little challenging here. It’s one thing to nominally support “abused women” in the abstract. IRL, women ditch friends who “complain too much” if they don’t leave an abusive partner the very moment the advice to leave is uttered. Or let’s say it’s four times, five times, six times, more. I don’t think it’s even that they “know” anything. They just have to be ready. Part of that is: There comes a point where their friends are settling down and there’s no other men to party with. Whoever is kind of around, and most appealing at that time (no icky history) and willing will end up with him. I would say, good to not waste time.
