I have been pointing this out for literally YEARS now but people STILL fall for their trick, just as they do for the wage gap myth. I don't think this kind of discourse is healthy. 2	it was worse being a man than a woman in the 1900s This sounds intuitive. Men were sent to war and women weren't. I think, though, there were more challenges to life then than war alone. In GENERAL I think it's naive, especially because none of us lived the life of a common person in the 1900s - and a good lot of us probably have a mostly American perspective anyway - to make blanket statements like this. 2	Why is it okay to suggest men are rapists based on a 5 second clip of them approaching someone then backing off ? This is why I like this subreddit. It's so easy to automatically make assumptions about a video based on the comments but then you guys provide a different perspective that reveals the prejudice in how people see these situations. I do think we should think critically about what any woman would feel like in this situation. I already don't hugely trust people I don't know.
