Equally valid statement as a retort: Men are harassed often by women from a young age, men face hiring discrimination (especially now), workplace sexism, et cetera. I personally have experienced all of the above consistently throughout my life. This one however: "Many women have talked about their fear of men." Your fears aren't society's or anyone else's responsibility to alleviate - that's your responsibility. Next question?

Deflection. A feminist can say anything they want but that's just an individual expressing their unique eccentricities. Feminism the ideology will have influenced even those who don't consider themselves feminists in one way or another - especially women.
