1	Amicable Divorce? You are lucky your ex is reasonable/normal. My stbx is extremely mentally ill and abusive. It seems like she is the meanest person ever, to everyone. Even her own parents. I could get 10 witnesses against her, since she abused even the neighbors kids. There is no point though. I still lose because bitch quit her high paying job 5 months after we got married, so she gets paid exorbitant money from me. 1	Things are starting to get nasty It's not the lawyers. I am a lawyer and a divorce lawyer in my office is helping me for free, and it's just as ugly. The laws are just complete bullshit. They reward the lazy and punish providers. Years of abuse, physical and emotional, to both me and the kids means nothing.
