I had a friend over the other night who is gluten free and lactose intolerant; I made sure to make everything as gluten free and dairy free as possible - apart from the curry I made for dinner. I accidentally started it with oil and butter but told her immediately, she said she'd keep an eye on it but since it was a small amount it probably wouldn't upset her stomach. I bought some dessert that was a gluten free vegan chocolate cheesecake which was delicious, and for breakfast I made her some ch…

Australian men are dis-gus-ting. Violent, misogynist, homophobic. I played a gig for country folk and their men are pigs. Drunk and feral.

That is so horrible and terrible, I'm so sorry this happened to you. My dad was very similar, and I hardly talk to him now.

One of my exes from the before fore times asked me to travel north, approximately 2 and a half thousand kilometres from where I lived. He was around twelve years older than me (I was nineteen at the time.) We had been together for maybe four or five months at the time. I was getting myself through university, still living at home. I said no, even after considering it for a while; I was not going to defer from university to follow this guy to somewhere I had no friends, family or connections. I'm…

Its a big one! I learned it the hard way after dreaming about being with a guy, had fantasies of getting married, having kids, all that nonsense. Finally asked him out and got slapped in the face with the realisation that he didn't like me at all. Tried to not do that again, and I'd get crushes on guys but just learned not to let it consume me like that again, and eventually I realised that it was pointless to pine after someone who isn't into me!

I'm really surprised by this - I don't stick around for unrequited love, I got way too much going on to waste that kind of time. Pine over yourself haha

Its so lame because the door swings the other way - with large breasts you're told repeatedly that your sagging breasts are unattractive and unappealing. How often I've wished I had smaller breasts. You just gotta take what you have and work with it. Am sorry that you've felt this way. Hope it doesn't bother you now

(some) bitches be cray - I had an experience where a girl reached out to me; she had been dating a guy I dumped about 1.5, maybe 2 years prior. She messaged me on Facebook, wondering if she could get the side of my story with him, and I immediately thought it was strange, and considered not answering. But being nice (in hindsight, very stupid), I decided to indulge what she was asking about and told her of my history with this guy, which included him being emotionally abusive, and totally disgus…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
