Different guy! I was dating around. I've learned a lot since then, many thanks to both therapy and other strong women lifting me up.

I just posted. He has until February to propose before I declare him a fuckboi and move on. So I'm in :)

That is so specific! It's like they're at a restaurant picking things off of a menu. These dudes seem to think looking for a partner is like ordering a sandwich. Just because you look and smell like mayo doesn't mean you can pick between whole grain and multi-wheat, bro. OPs date was lucky to be at the table, but he was busy going hungry.

"Change up the scrotation" is my new life advice for 90% of dating situations, thank you!

THIS. ALL DAY. Some men pretend to have low confidence to fish for compliments and make you think they're vulnerable. But they're the same men who complain about women being manipulative. This guy is too dumb to be successful with his manipulation, though.

Before I discovered this sub, I was giving men first, middle, last, and mother's maiden name chances.

Didn't he open a sober house to support other alcoholics? His drinking took a clear toll and I think he pays the price daily, but I appreciate someone who tries to help others. That said, Rachel Green is a forever 12 put of 10 and Chandler was always a 2 on his best day. So needy and entitled!

I was drinking the koolaid before this sub and totally bought into the idea that I was "sex negative" if I admitted discomfort with the degradation of women that comprises most porn. It turns women into dehumanized chattel and almost all of the titles are disgusting. I can't believe I was talked into thinking it was okay. The pickmeisha attitude feels so sad now.

I was a lawyer and quit because everyone prided themselves on being assholes. I would never date a lawyer-- EVER. I don't think it's possible to be a HVM and engage in a profession that breeds an adversarial mindset.

As women, the standards we hold for ourselves to are often higher than the standards we hold for the grown men around us. If we can be responsible for our jobs, homes, hobbies, finances, appearance, friendships, families... men can, too. Noting this for myself as well. Always something to keep working on.

Feminist here. Many of us think assault can be committed by women against men. We think gender norms harm men as well as women. We think feminism is about creating equal gender expectations so men can be vocal about non-consent. But you don't like my answer. So proceed to tell me again why you speak for feminism and I don't. Signed, Woman of color used to this predictable BS

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
