It is not narcissistic to have confidence in yourself. It is narcissistic to have unfounded confidence in yourself. That's where the line is. Don't stop caring. Caring is a good thing. Instead of 100% caring or 0% caring, go for 50% caring. Care as much as you can without it affecting you too deeply, when it starts interfering with your life then just say 'fuck it' and move on.

Values are not facts. I wouldn't be indoctrinated by a fundamentalist religion because a scientific facts are based upon the scientific method. If your particular idea is that a religious "fact" is equal in weight to a scientific fact, then your methodology is flawed and you should indeed question your comparisons. Walking 5 miles without legs is an accomplishment. However, walking 5 miles with legs can also be viewed as an accomplishment. If you view one and 100% and the other as 0%, that is in…

They are probably going to give you a list of reasons why you actually a good, worthful person based on a basic inquiry into your life. They'll compare and contrast you with other people in your life - people that you mention. They might find out what you think a worthy person is and compare that view with known ideas of what a person with self-esteem thinks. Plus more, I'm sure based upon what you tell them. Confidence in myself? Sure. Why? Well, I base my knowledge on facts and valid compariso…

Hey, don't put yourself down. No need for that. Everybody is different and sometimes people are happy just the way that they are. I'd like to point out the "never felt like anyone would want me" part. This has nothing to do with sex and everything to do with self esteem. This may be below normal and I think that you would benefit from a little counseling from a professional at least on this one single point. Maybe at least start with some self help on low self esteem. You don't seem like an ass …

If you don't want to spend the time, money, and effort then don't. It may take longer and you may have less sex candidates but lazy, ugly, poor people still manage to have sex. Every person is different and while you may find that it is worth time, money, and effort to get laid - you might also find that it is not worth it. The only way that you'll ever know is to try it and find out for yourself. For a truly scientific study, you'll have to get laid a significant amount of times with both the s…

Even if your physical body isn't hurt, in a sudden impact your brain will bounce around in your skull like Jell-O. This can cause cognitive impairment, hopefully only temporary. Humans never evolved to go through anything like car crashes so even lower speed impacts can cause problems. What this has to do with trp, I have no idea. Most of it seems to go away after about a week to a month, though long lasting effects can continue for life. Luckily the brain can be repair itself even in old age bu…

Machines are the way to go for lifting. You can still get plenty muscular with only machines. Anybody who thinks less of you for a disability isn't someone that has a worthy opinion. There are plenty of people that act odd and say shit about the disabled and they can all go fuck themselves and their fuckwit opinions. For every one of them there are more people that think higher of you because you have a disability and are out there trying to overcome it. I think that you're good enough just as y…

You don't know how much money is in the joint kids account? So you don't have access? You're not sure if she's taking money out of it or putting it into a separate account or doing whatever with it? Stop letting her control your kids finances and controlling your finances. Set up a trust for your child only. You think that she's looking out for both kids equally but you don't know that. Do you want your biological kid to have less opportunity, education, and fall back than a kid with some dumbas…

I agree, OP. No good ever seems to come from another left/right argument. As can be seen from the comments. You get a bunch of "this isn't left/right, actual left/right looks like this". It does not further anything, ever. The best thing is to just keep it out of here. Frankly, just look at the people involved and their past history - not the political party that they are affiliated with. There are going to be people on both sides that are for and against men's rights.

While many men here are egalitarian and socially liberal, there are quite a few that are far to the right of center. To the righties, since feminism seems to be linked with leftism, they seem 100% justified in thinking that all Men's rights advocacy has to be a conservative approach and are quite voiciferous about it. To them, any man that isn't 100% republican / conservative is simply uneducated, mislead, or misguided. They will call out men for this and divide or drive them away if they aren't…

I would have agreed with you before I got plenty of first hand experience with multiple BiPD individuals. I sound like a butt hurt child? No. I'm an adult that is saying something that I feel needs to be said. What is wrong with me? Nothing. I've been checked out by trained professionals and been given a clean mental bill of health. What is wrong with you? You've been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. What is happening is that I am being verbally abused by a crazy person. Please don't res…

I would agree that it seems like that should be an easy thing to do. However, the ability of a BiPD person to manipulate, lie, gaslight, and otherwise twist a situation is simply incredible - especially when they are in the right frame of mind. Am I going to try to commit a BiPD that I know is batshit nuts? It may be socially irresponsible of me, yet I would rather get away from that person as quickly as possible and cease all contact.

My ex had BiPD as well. I agree with you 100%, there is no fixing that level of crazy. I've seen the lying, manipulating, and getting off on the abusive power over others. I've also met and lived with other BiPD (I use that so not to be confused with BPD - Borderline Personality Disorder) and find it absolutely unbelievable that someone diagnosed with this disorder is allowed freedom outside of a mental facility. I know that sounds super harsh and would have never said it before being around it …

I haven't seen this mentioned, so.. Not only shouldn't teachers be having sex with students because they are underage but because they are Teachers. Teachers have an ethical obligation not to sleep with their students. This seems similar, yet probably not as pronounced as a Psychiatrist sleeping with a patient. No, I don't know if these teachers were in classrooms with that student but do you think that a teacher is going to fail a student they are sleeping with? Maybe automatic A's? This behavi…
