So you were ordered to take care of your children less and earn more to be able to pay more to your ex-spouse by court? If so, that is twisted and you should take it higher. One of human rights is a right to a family life.

Ok, then it is a solely Spanish law matter. Get a lawyer, Social services and government services in general frequently advise in contrary to the law, since their advice an notices are usually not scrutinized. Social workers talk shit. Have you got a lawyer?

What countries has this started and what countries is it going on? What is the current domicile of the kids?

Yeah, sexism goes both ways but is only called out when targeted against women. And water is wet. I wonder about those articles though. I have male voice on my assistants (or the best available regardless of gender), I find some of the female voice options not neutral enough and hence slightly annoying. I am a heterosexual married man.

This is so fake. Who would do that if it weren't for a big sack of money for some bad acting?

I remember this case. The issue isn't only that crazy people got into positions of power (superintendent), but no one around them had the balls to immediately suspend them after this. I wonder what the aftermath was, any updates?

That is harassment and not something anyone should be doing. What you do is you set your boundaries. Refuse to discuss all that bullshit (or anything else not work related) with her and mind your work. When she digress to talking bullshit, gently but firmly remind her she is at work and she is keeping you from focusing on the task at hand.

I do sometimes hear my wife giving relationship advice to my single friends in contrary to what actually does work in a relationship with her. It is funny.

I cannot support this more. Have any injuries you have documented by the doctor! Please, do it for your sake. This will be more important in the long run than you can imagine.

Are you me? I ended up divorced and safe. Unfortunately, the biblical marriage you believe in is in no way supported by law. You got yourself into a very different contract and the one that will screw you over if you don't take care of yourself. Of course pastor/therapist will never recommend a divorce. Trust me, your wife will feel no such hinderance if a push comes to shove from her side.

That pain and anger is actually aimed at the OP. Everything else is a enabling fairytale told by abuser (with whatever trauma they may have) to make themselves feel better.

You see the issue is that feminists have this image, I described higher, of an enemy class with its typical gender roles and give it as an example to the custody trends. However, the real life is much more diverse than this stereotypical (almost a strawman) example and feminists are not ready to acknowledge the reality or deny it altogether. Hence invalidating experience of actual men who experienced hardship and unfair treatment. At least this one feminist did.

I had a discussion with a feminist some time back. It is because of inherent male guilt. Whenever a mother is awarded custody in court, it is the father's fault, because he surely wasn't co-parenting enough. Judges cannot just grant the custody to practically a stranger the kids almost never see. And this is also the root cause of the divorce surely. Both the divorce and the custody is the man's fault and the fault of patriarchy that enforces gender roles. Any examples showing something differen…

Eviction for verbal abuse sounds like courts daddying life of two adults. That is crazy. Unless there is more to the story.

That is the advice he should have been given. Also someone who has been in a similar situation and sharing his experience with him should have been helpful. I don't get the downvotes. Distancing from his gf will only make his issue worse.

By accident, I stumbled upon my partner's sex tape made with her previous boyfriend. I had a good laugh and moved on. Not a big deal. His issue points towards a problem with self-esteem. Breaking up over this is downright immature. If he has an issue, he should see professional help, not burden his gf.
