Yeah sometimes is fine ofc I just meant I don't want to be the main caretaker daily
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 11:26 PM

though avoiding being a caretaker entirely might be difficult. What are some things I'd need to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 11:05 PM

Yeah exactly, I wanna be a step-parent where me and her kids are like family members, but I'm not their parent and caregiver I will care for them, be their friend, buy them stuff etc. but I don't want to assume the parental role Do you think I'm weird for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:54 PM

Yeah I don't mind. Basically I don't wanna be a parent where I'm putting so much effort for the kids. But I will care for them, be their friend, buy them stuff, bond with them. But I don't want to be their parent. I want to love their mom and be their friend and consider them a type of family member if the bond gets deep Does that make sense or no?

I'm just wondering how real hypergamy is
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:41 PM

I won't mind living with her kids because it'll add liveliness to the house. The house won't be lonely But would I be expected to do alot of stuff for them?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:36 PM

Oh yeah. I get what you mean. It's hard either way
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:35 PM

What about hypergamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:32 PM

But what if I'm a totally safe guy
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:28 PM

As people get to their late twenties and up - they just decide to couple up or stay together if they're already a couple. Sensible people understand that the perfect partner does not exist and not everything about their partner has to be perfect. Would women trade up if given the chance?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:25 PM

I assume they are easy to get with. They're not?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:24 PM

True. Due to hypergamy right?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:21 PM

I just want love. I don't even care about the numbers game
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:15 PM

Not as much in traditional people right?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:15 PM

Hmm, true What are some examples
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:14 PM

If I'm lonely and don't want to put in the effort to keep dating until I find the "perfect person", Should I just date a single mom Basically I want someone who will love me. I don't care anymore about all of that superficial stuff. As long as someone crosses certain thresholds, I'm not here to optimize for anything Of course I will NOT leave them if a better partner comes along. Once we both love each other, I will consider us locked in forever, unless there's a deal breaker
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 10:06 PM

I don't want drama. I just want to find a girlfriend who will be my future wife and we have a beautiful family life together Why can't I find that in my early 20s outside of a religious context?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
