Especially considering some polls indicate that up to 25% of young adults viewing asking out for a drink or date is considered sexual harassment from their view. I was only looking to see if there’s any actual acknowledgment of the situation. Yes, and those articles span at least a decade before male loneliness was even discussed in the same periodicals. It’s a tired topic from that end that still, like the video, blames men as the fault for both male and female loneliness because they aren’t up to womens’ standards. It just seems like a spiral of misery at the moment, and always puts the responsibility on men to figure it out even while currently being the victims. I was kind of afraid to post it for that reason as it’s very upsetting, but I just thought it’s a double-standard example that will be faced as the topic grows and grows outside of men focused spaces. Completely agree it’s been covered far more frequently (albeit at all compared to men’s issues) in press.
