Feminism originally is literally about equality. I don’t know what the majority believes, but I know what's what. If you want gender roles removed, certain men will have to do that. The reason it is a problem is because during the 1900's was the peak of the female infant*cide. So now a lot of men in third world countries do not have any partners, and actually do have an active disadvantage to finding a partner. Also not everyone is going to admit to infant*cide, so you should always take studies loosely, they do not cover the millions of more people who want to keep it purely a secret.
