And that's what my edit was for, in case i misinterpreted what you said, but i guess people didn't read it or didnt care X)

A few steps away from 9/11 style terrorism? Unless we have completely different views on what the term "a few steps away" means, what you have said is absurd. Pulling the fire alarm and blocking individuals from getting to a meeting is wrong and illegal, but it is nowhere near 9/11 style terrorism IMO. 3000 people died that day; it's nowhere near the same as this college bullshit. This is why people react negatively when they read up on MRAs; we laugh when the other side overplays and dramatizes…

I'm sorry, but how is this about Men's Rights? This seems like it'd be more fitting for TRP.

That's true, it even says it at the end of the article, but i think his statement stands. Just because this woman sees the double standard, doesn't make up for the fact that, in my experience, feminists, for the most part, don't really touch men's issues with the same urgency as women's. Plus, it's a joke, from Bill Burr, i think.

Idk, maybe I was overreacting, but I'm not sure I see the point of saying you would kill someone in that situation, maybe you were just taking your frustration out. I also feel like what you said would be the definition of keyboard justice, but maybe I don't understand that term properly. I also like that I'm an asshat for calling out meaningless internet promises of violence. Sorry, if I stopped the circlejerk.

This is a Men's Rights subreddit where we highlight problems men face, like this. You wouldn't expect men's problems in /r/feminism, or videos in /r/pics or John Cena in /r/potatosalad.

What we need are fairer trials and to raise public awareness, not keyboard vigilante 'justice.'

I like this sub and Men's Rights, but his comment is why some people see us as anti-women and will never take us seriously.

Really? Feminism is a mental illness? I know youre using a hyperbole to make a point, but cmon man. Every feminist ever, from 60 year olds to 12 year olds, conservative to liberal, including myself, have a mental illness? Now i know there are tons of feminist lunatics, we see em all the time on this sub, but how would we react if someone called all MRAs, RedPill white college 20 somethings or old white men. Sweeping generalisations often fail and statements like yours contribute to why people th…

Idk, but it was all very cringeworthy. IMO OP handled that horribly and seemed childish; there were no facts or articles used by OP. He had a very 'smarter than thou' attitude which was annoying and awkward. The Christie Paul comic made me cringe; the whole thing made me cringe. I just hope this isn't what MRAs are branded as, rude and childish college kids with a 'better than thou' attitude.

What i took from his quotes was that if she says no but you think she means yes subtly, then if you rape her, it's just a wash. It encourages this mentality that when a woman says no, she probably means yes and wants you to right for it. I'd say it's okay to persist, but he's sayin just go for it and if it doesn't work out, then it's just a simple misunderstanding. I never even used rape apologist; I said he was a loon. I dont understand why I'm being so heavily downvoted for quoting him verbati…

I'm sure there are somethings to be interpreted differently, but IMO ge says some pretty shitty things that don't have to be twisted to be bad, like: "Evenings of paying to be rejected can feel like a male version of date rape. (p. 314)" Rejection and rape aren't even close IMO. "Somehow, women’s romance novels are not titled He Stopped When I Said “No”. They are, though, titled Sweet Savage Love, in which the woman rejects the hand of her gentler lover who saves her from the rapist and marries …

I don't know much about the guy, so i looked up what that womn said about him and it looks true, "We have forgotten that before we began calling this date rape and date fraud, we called it exciting. (pp. 314-315)" That's from his Myths of Men book i believe. This is where i found the quote and the context for it. I didn't love everything they say about MRAs obviously, but it seems clear that this Warren guy is a loon. He calls being rejected on a date comparable to date rape, says men should for…

Are there links to those studies? Just saying they exist doesn't mean much. Inb4 I could just google them, however the burden of proof aint on me, plus im a tad lazy.

Link?

Man, there were a lot of heavy claims from both sides there. Can anyone actually find links that support what they said, because as cool as their rant looks like, I'd like to see some hard evidence before I fully believe it.

I'm sure every guy has had his own unique experiences with women, good or bad, but you can't generalize all women like this so quickly and start spewing these ideas like their facts.

Dude I didn't say that people want to fill out permission slips for every advance. What I said was, if you're gonna start with this alpha beta bullshit, about how all women use beta males for money while fucking alpha Chads on the side, then you're gonna need some god damn scientific evidence.

How can you generalize half the population so swiftly? Where's the evidence, the studies or any actual scientific data to support these ridiculous claims? Edit: Downvoted for fucking asking for evidence when people come in here with these crazy ideas that every women concocts these insane schemes. This is why people fucking associate MRAs with TRPers and caste aside our opinions.

What? Idk if you accidentally posted in the wrong sub, but this isn't TRP.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
