Really well explained post and story, liked it a lot and the reasoning and logic is something people should drill into their heads. Ofc like all dating tips, this can apply to general friendships and work as well. People respect and like someone who has their own personal boundaries because its something many people lack, and thus look up to. A small note, altho I liked the post the middle section got a little long winded if Im being honest. I would try and lean it out a bit more, tho thats just…

Great post. Finding a way to be more honest in your day-to-day life and conversations really matters imo. You feel a lot better about yourself, knowing you're not spewing bullshit to everyone you talk and interact with. I like how you showed various forms of honesty, from saying you'd not like to talk about it to telling them every single detail. Both are your honest truth, and different people are going to prefer different methods. As long as you feel good about the answer and how you honestly …

I think you’re gunna be ok, Its good to plan ahead but you may be overthinking it a bit. A lot of women will act like they care about the past, but in reality its a solid future that they’re looking for (this could be with or without you) Men are a stuck in the past a lot more when it comes to these kinds of things imo because we’re more possessive with who were with, and dont like the thought of the love of our life being railed by some part time drug dealer at your local bar after 3 whiskey so…

Good shit man, and I agree completely. You dont want to put all your eggs in one basket, doing multiple things at once is a good way to maintain momentum. That way if your lifts feels like shit for a few weeks, you still have positive momentum from say the dancing, and other skills and hobbies that you’re making progress on. Plus being competent in more than one thing makes you a lot more confident in general. And we all know how confidence is essentially the cheat code for living a good life.

Great post. The silent james bond stoic persona is killing a lot of people chances of being more social these days I agree. Another good tip I could add is to be more social at your work, especially if you’re working a job thats customer facing. In sales, i used to just do the bare minimum in the conversation to get the sale and thats it. But once i started putting a bit more effort into talking and getting to know them, each interaction became a lot more enjoyable even though the task I was doi…

Sidenote to my previous comment: I just realized that you're Andy from Killyourinnerloser, big fan of your work and writing man. Some of your previous posts have really helped me a lot when I was starting out. Thanks for continually sharing valuable and insightful content in this community.

Taking the pressure off yourself to have sex will also open you up to new experiences, because you won’t be thinking so far ahead into the future. Guys tend to think, “Could I see myself banging this girl?” or “Could I see myself dating this girl and introducing her to my friends?” Woah, cowboy – chill a little. The only question you need to ask yourself is, “Am I happy with the stage we’re at now; am I enjoying being with her in this moment, right now?” Extremely well said. This is something I'…

I'm not the original commenter but I can give you my 2 cents on what I think they mean. There are a lot of tasks and activities that we do in our day to day that have a NEGATIVELY skewed cost-to-benefit ratio; but we keep doing them because we think we have to do them ourselves. Maybe we love working out, but hate counting calories and making meals. You could eliminate that huge point of friction by buying a meal prep plan shipped to your home, or do meal prep once a week to only have to think a…

Great writeup, I think you summarize those 3 points really well. Delegate, speed and discipline are extremely important; although I'd say the difficulty in achieving them are in the order listed. " You want to minimise the time spent in that desert because every day you’re there, the chance you’re going to quit or burn out increases." This line I especially love, that middle period can be so burdensome and difficult to go through, that doing everything you can to minimize it is important. You ca…

Do you actually believe that, or are you just saying that to sound cool lol. I believe that quote refers to relying on SOLEY hope, and nothing else. Which would be weakness as you’re leaving everything important to “chance”. But what I’m talking about is different. Were not robots, if we could all be objective and robotic in our lives then sure that would work. You may not like your emotions and humanity, but that wont make em go away. So unless you harness hope into a productive energy like i m…

Anything worth achieving takes time. The habits and discipline you’re working on will carry on through the rest of your life, if done properly. Be patient my friend, and keep at it.

You could do both at the same time, but id personally recommend taking a break from going out for a couple of months just to work on yourself and regain some confidence. Unless you change what you put out there, what you get back will be the same. If you don’t like what you’re getting, you gotta change what you’re putting out there first.

Well said. You know for certain aspects of my life/ self improvement what you described was actually the route i took as well. Specifically regarding NoFap/hooking up with girls. Id finish watching porn, and just get so mad staring at the screen where some bum was fucking the girl of my dreams. One day I thought “Why not me” What makes him better than me? The answer was… nothing. That was the tipping point of my dissatisfaction with reality where it would hurt more to keep doing the same thing m…

Is he a good read in general? I’ve seen him mentioned here and there and have seen a few vids of him but thats all.

Well said, I agree with what you mean. In your opinion do you think self belief is the “evolved” version of hope? Like hope in its truest form? Or do you think they’re 2 separate things. It’s something I think about often, but am not sure where I stand on it.

Yea, thats exactly it. Its the root of which everything else builds upon. Good comparison, I forgot about Dilts Pyramid. Thanks for reminding me about it!

Exactly, it puts your work and suffering in proper perspective. And once you do that it makes it a lot more bearable. Even though the activity itself is the same, the motivation behind it changes how you feel about it completely.

I really like that. We like to overcomplicate things but in reality, you either are doing what your supposed to be, or you are not. No excuses, it really is that simple. Thanks for that.

Tbh I think single digit is only good for competing (or if you're just cutting and want to see how lean you can get) The amount of work and strictness needed to maintain like 7/8% is quite a bit and I know it isnt healthy to keep at a super low body fat for a long time too.

I think that's a good amount to look good and still have a healthy lifestyle (10-14%)

Another good casual and clean scent similar to Acqua Di Gio is Invictus Aqua (2018) I've been wearing it at work and It's clean, fresh but not too intrusive. And since it's supposed to be based off a Rugby cup and has a sports theme it works really well in the summer when it's mixing with your sweat. So if you're active like myself this is a perfect summer outdoor/casual fragrance IMO.

And I don't disagree that there are a lot of terrible people who would leave others in their time of need. What i'm saying is that number is so small that it seems silly to expect ALL of your future interactions to end up like that. Is it good to keep in mind at the back of your head? Of course. Would I assume everyone/girl I meet is a cold machine that will leave me the second I show emotion? I wouldn't.

Good skin and good hair is the best thing you can do. Take care of your beard and your hair, pluck eyebrows if you need to just make yourself as presentable as possible. Also keeping your teeth clean and white is also another huge thing anything can do to make your face look a lot better. Besides those yea you have the basics of lift, also make sure you dress well and smell nice and you'll be fine.

I prefer the saying abs are made in the gym but seen in the kitchen, but both are right and I don't really think anybody is debating them.

Yea, honestly if the guy looks like the crazy type or has some sketchy friends it could be the bf texting you and you could get jumped. With that in mind I'd never invite her to my place and never tell her where i live for safety reasons.

That's shitty. I'm honestly more impressed you didn't knock his teeth out the next time you saw him, though of course that wouldn't have been the smart thing to do.

Honestly 2 will be fine most times if you know it's gunna be a quick hookup/nothing more. If a girl is inviting you over to stay at her place/netflix and chill type scenario where you could be there for a while I'd say bring a lot. If you have a car carry a box in the glove compartment at all times/ Carry 2 with you in your wallet. If you use 2 and feel like a third time is imminent just say something like lemme check if my car is locked one sec (or any excuse to get to your car) and get more (o…

"Having low% bodyfat makes your face look thinner" "Nah that's fucking bro science man" ummm you should be taking care of your face regardless, but having silky smooth and clear skin when you're 250lbs and obese will only make you look like a hard boiled egg.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/17 06:09 AM

Yea but that doesn't matter as you're just cutting fat, as long as they are losing that weight properly (assuming they're working out) they won't really lose much muscle. A girl would rather be with a thinner guy who then has to add lean muscle then a tubbier one who wants to add muscle first before he "cuts"
