Tough when your friend group was a mutual friend group with you and the ex. If you're open to try something new, I've seen jiu jitsu work wonders, not about being a bada$$ or champion, just to ditch any ego issues and heal insecurities. Find a non toxic, non meathead environment and it can be like a second family. Stuff like fishing, jogging and cycling, for me, was too solitary, nightclubs and bars not my thing. BBQs and beach days are gold. Find your own balance, find something that can help y…

Thank you for the insight, yeah it's a lot. Not gonna get into details about my personal financial state, but the place is almost paid off. I could shuffle things and would need to touch investments I probably shouldn't, but I'm here for the advice from the vets here. I've been considering paying the mortgage off in full to free up my monthly cash flow prior to making moves. Idk?

How'd you go about it, as far as the delivery goes? Were you two amicable and agree on it, or did you do all the legwork in the background and just serve her out of the blue? Any hints, lessons learned, general advice is greatly appreciated...

Forgot to mention: beware of the TRAP! some dudes on tinder like to speak highly of themselves and their successes. Girls might see this as an easy paycheck. Eighteen minutes of pleasure, eighteen years of pain if she's not the right girl for you. Depending on your choices regarding having kids, please play it smart.

Bro, I've been talking to the fellas about breakups and how it's your time to be selfish and to find yourself again. Do what you've been yearning to do, or do what you've been passionate about but haven't had time to do. A girl will see you doing your thing, and see your passion for what you love. If she supports you, that's the girl for you. Can't find that on tinder. Those girls can fake like they are into you for a few months, until they can't anymore.... Recipe for disaster! Tinder seems oka…

First off, thank you very much for the reply, really helps. I did start taking kids to therapy, doing so under the radar. Having a hard time making excuses for when the school calls for them missing classes, the school leaves messages with both parents. I've felt selfish for a decade by wanting to bail, but I'm starting to feel like my gut is constantly knotted up. Real talk, I haven't felt loved in a decade, my kids simply being good kids has kept me sane. I've been good, having fended off more…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
