As delightful as that sounds, completely unnecessary. Shaving is just a natural part of my routine. My first question is always "what did he sign up for?" Were you shaving when he asked you to be his girlfriend? Then keep doing that. We don't change up the TOS once the subscription starts. Now if he was accepting of the body hair starting out and pulled a bait and switch, then that's his mistake.

I prefer my old one tbh but I feel like using the same art again and again is lazy

Oh neat, so this is part where we make up what other people have "realized." I think you realize that devoting this level of concern to whether a stranger would choose you over a bear in the woods in some imaginary fantasy is highly irrational but you refuse to admit it. Because I said so.

Thanks lol. I do feel like the weeks off have given me some much needed perspective. So there's that at least.

a man's social status, composed of future potential, income, education, social network, resources, wealth and prestige of occupation, the more attractive he becomes to women on average Counting "education" and "social network" as status markers is very questionable imo. I don't think it's reasonable to assume that women are drawn to those things because they think it places men higher on some kind of intangible hierarchy. I personally found that I have more in common with men with at least a bac…

I justify it by not seeing the TikTok entertainment channel fantasy scenario as the ultimate arbiter of fear/trust of other human beings. I don't feel entitled to literally any random person of any persuasion feeling safe in the woods with me. That is not the hill I think anyone in their right mind is dying on.

My BF's first question was "what species." He'd take a black bear over another human, but a human over say grizzly or, of course, polar bears. The most interesting part of his logic to me is that he doesn't even necessarily believe the other person would be a threat intentionally or maliciously. He sees ignorance and scarcity of resources as the way bigger issue with getting stuck in the woods with a random person.

This gotcha is always so funny to me. All of the problems those groups of people face, trust me, "does some random dude on Reddit want to be in the woods with me" is very very low. Hell they probably don't want to be with you either.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
