I've been revealing my crippling anxiety with my gf over the last few years. It was only in the last few months that shes seen me completely break down in front of her. We've only grown closer for it. Shes a pretty traditional girl in some ways, so her expectations of her man to he stoic might be higher than average. The truth is, suffering from depression like you are, you have already hurt her in some ways and will continue to, and the more you hide it the more hurt it will cost. Not only that…

I've spent the last 3 days with friends walking around 4 hours a day plus. And I spend a break or two each night at work walking around for that sweet low latency server connection. It's definitely helped me get out of the house, which is good because I've been going out less as I work night shift.

I do alright, and I'm ugly. I'm certain more attractive guys do better, but I wouldn't say I'm doing bad.

It's absolutely fine if it's agreed to without threat of divorce from both parties, and absolutely absurd if strictly confined to one gender. If the wife agree to it, fine, but it isn't unreasonable for her to ask to sleep around too.

Until, of course, they end up abusing you emotionally or showing their misogyny.

This is such an immature answer. And why I'm using a throwaway account, so people don't call me a misogynist because I happen to agree with certain red pill beliefs. What redpill beliefs do you have that are inherently redpill but not misogynistic? Confident, healthy, respectful, assertive, and humble are all things the Red Pill would endorse a man being. Not respectful or humble, but otherwise, yes. But you're only talking about the bright side of redpill ideology. They would also be emotionall…

That basically makes him worse than Hitler- Hitler at least managed the economy well. You're comparing the economic troubles of one region to the systematic genocide of 11 million and a war that claimed 70 million lives, and yiu want us to take you seriously?

Damn feminism, I mean who could possibly want men and women to be treated equally!?

Don't be dense, even a redpiller was implying that not being a friend of homosexuality is a problem.

I can tell you that it is not found within the inlaid, instinctive characteristics of females and the emergent socio-psychological value system that they create. I'm listening, you're just actually suggesting that women are incapable of being reactionary, and that it is only men who cause wrong in the world. You're characterizing men as demons and women as meek sheep. You're incredibly sexist and ignorant, and your position is indefensible.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/15 03:05 AM
2

Except that, for a fact, many women absolutely do crush complaint from men and women. You're trying to exonerate all women of anything they do wrong simply for their gender. That's sexist and pathetic. But if you don't believe me, go to a left subreddit and complain about a men's issue and keep in perspective of gender. You will be attacked by your oh so delicate and nurturing females, and many leftist men who are feminists
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/15 12:58 AM

Both men and women can be reactionary. Don't try to blame exclusively men for shunning discussion of men's gender issues. The left is for the most part extremely uninterested, and if men discuss anything within earshot of some leftists, it becomes an issue. Look how education and crime rates aren't allowed to be discussed, unless they're only talking about it in the context of race. If I were to point that out in /r/socialism, I'd have a good number of the hardliners telling me to kill myself.

There are certain parts of red pill that are great-- encouraging men to be more confident, to work out and keep good hygiene, and not be a doormat. That's great! However, trp also extends to negative territory-- treating women like doormats, making ridiculous generalizations, supporting abusive relationships and cheating. The negative traits, even if they help those guys get more sex, don't lend themselves to healthy relationships or a good society. My morals are against people who treat others …

Are you serious? You think that women will steal sperm? Also, vasectomy is an option if you're that paranoid that someone will steal sperm after you fall asleep.

No, but I think that if your a man who doesn't want kids at any cost, you should take proper precautions (multiple forms of birth control). Same with women. Abortion should be a last resort.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/14 05:53 AM

Don't want kids? Don't have sex. "Financial abortion" creates an imbalance that enables irresponsible men to just leave instead of facing the consequences of their actions.

With that exception, it's entirely equal. Since we are making the assumption that this other woman is std free for the cheating man, we can assume that the cheating woman will have a paternity test on birth of a child. Isn't it the same thing then?

I view homosexuality as a choice. That's disgusting. So I wouldn't encourage her towards a deviant relationship, but I'm not going to kick her out of my house if she starts going through a phase or decides that she is a lesbian. I don't have issues with homosexual people so it would not change our relationship that much if really at all. Congrsts on being willing to be a parent. But really, you call homosexual relations a deviant relationship, and then claim not to have issues with them?

No, I disagree. I'm a man, 20, but when someone in the office brings their kid by (we've had 4 fathers in my year and a half there) I definitely feel the urge to have a child even when my sense tells me "not yet"

All we have is her side of the story, so we don't know if that happened, and even if it did he may have pushed for it way more than her. This is clear as mud. Yeah, I know you were going out of the way to be dramatic, that's what inspired the "acting like a dick" part.

Wow, that's just a shitty opinion. You know nothing about the relationship except what she says and that spreadsheet. Rooting for it to end is just plain evil.

What he did here was childish, but we can't know if she's been acting appropriately and actually willing to listen to her husband. You're being a dick just to troll some terpers.

No, the spreadsheet was absolutely ridiculous. However, we don't know if he's been trying to talk about this for months and she won't budge, or if he's just being too passive aggressive to communicate.

What if I said constantly expecting sex from a partner when they aren't in the mood is emotional abuse? It certainly can be abusive. But not having sex is being emotionally distant, which can definitely be abusive. I know I need it more than 3 times in 7 weeks. If I got it that infrequently, I'd feel unloved, miserable, stressed, etc. Is it abuse yet? No, not really. But it's definitely not good for the relationship. Honestly, we can't really judge since we don't know the whole story.

There's a difference in how you act nice. Where acting nice fails is when you act so nice that you're boring, or when you act nice as a way to indebt people. You can be nice yet confident and interesting, and you can be nice without being a push-over. Being nice is helpful, but as a single trait won't take you far.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/14 11:34 PM

No, success isn't the same as creation; the chances that a type of society will succeed isn't the same as the chance it will be created. Look how long it took for western secular democratic republics to rise, yet they've been the most successful societies in history.

Confident, comfortable bantering with me and teasing me. What critics would call a neg. Negging has always presented as more negative than teasing. The "field reports" get offensive, not joking. Not easily butthurt - can take, and give back, a joke. Something about him tells me he's in control of himself and his surroundings. Maintain frame. RP maintain frame supports people being more rigid than a stone pillar. This is called "confidence" right here, and involves being somewhere between RPs "ma…

I think that's great for awareness, unfortunately I didn't see it on my mobile app (it's a pain to look at the sidebar, and custom CSS doesn't work). But since I read this I have refrained from downvoting.

No, they do, but environment does a lot as well. Gender identities are more responsible for an entire genders behavior than any one or several differentially expressed hormones, proteins, or genes are for sexes.

Physically, it'd be idiotic to deny trends. General hormone levels tend to make men bigger (for one obvious difference). Also, body hair. My girlfriend does not (and could not) have a big bushy beard like I do. Mentally? Well there are some differences between brains. However, I think you're going to spin this as a behavioral thing. I believe behavior is much more environmentally influenced. Culture is responsible for gender roles. Also, mental differences are tendencies, and are certainly not i…

why isnt it needed in nursing and teaching? There seems to be a lack of male teachers and nurses? Or does it only go one way? I suppose nursing definitely needs more males, they are discriminated against. Teachers, not so much. Why is forcing outcomes a good thing? People should have equal opportunities, not necessarily equal outcomes. It isn't to enforce equal outcomes, but to get society to the point where there is actual equal opportunity. The unfortunate truth is that most businesses can't d…

Often times, treating men and women differently in regards to the work place is encouraged. Its even part of the law in America. Affirmative Action is still a thing. Affirmative action is intended to level disparities in employment and pay. We see fields where this isn't needed as much (nursing, teaching), and areas where it's needed more (programming/computer science, engineering, etc). It isn't promoting differences, so much as it's trying to level out differences. Yes this does create some in…

I actually think it was fair to split the assets slightly in favor of the woman. The reason being is that she gave up her career. I believe divorce should result in a 50-50 split, because both people should be all-in to the marriage. I do come from a background where I think responsibilities should be split 50-50 within a marriage. If one of the partners decides not to work, for example, they should do as much housekeeping as the other works, and then any remainder is split beyond that.

I think sexism on both sides leads to this. Women are treated as delicate flowers, incapable of any strength to defend themselves, so rape is taken seriously because it is treated as an obvious oppressor assaulting an inferior. Men are cast in a strange Darwinian hypermasculine role, where being victimized means that a man is a less worthy person, rather than a victim. Also, comedians emphasize differences in the sexes. Men tend to laugh off pain or near death experiences, and laugh with friends…

Woah woah woah. Not "non-fox" media. Just some places. You gotta just look at every organization carefully, and they all have left and right leanings. Even the cleaner organizations, like Reuters and the AP, have political leanings (Right and left, respectively, although its light on both)

Mentally ill people will also victimize their own gender. I don't think mental illness is a reason to separate gender (although I do think that there can be good reason t consider doing so.)

The thing is, feminists should even be agreeing with us. That pedastel also makes women seem like children, absolutely innocent in creating their positions and incapable of getting past it.
