I'm white, and on the peripheral with a lot of POC family. And I do get angrier than they do, on the outside, when these things occur. Bc as someone who hasn't experienced it, I can't imagine having to experience it every day repeatedly. And to see children being treated that way by adults, bc of the color of their skin only, is infuriating to me. It's gross. I appreciate your point of view, thank you for sharing.

Fair point. For me, the empathy I feel for how exhausted POC must be is alway at the forethought of my reactions. Bc seriously, that shit has to be exhausting.

Bc she immediately accused a young black male when there are tons of other people around. And, she went into a hotel lobby that she wasn't staying at to do so. She zeroed in on that kid like a missile, when there were others around that she bypassed. We don't know it was racially motivated, but definitely seems like it could be. And if I was a young black male, I would find it very difficult to believe it wasn't why I was accused and attacked.

I dunno, if I was a parent of a black child who was assaulted physically by an adult woman, and it appeared to be racially motivated, and I'd experienced racism my entire life, I might be sick enough of it to react pretty strongly when it happens to my child.

Bc it's not the crime, but the underlying cause of the crime. Racism. And people are right, imagine an adult black male tackling a teenaged white girl, and then finding out there was no theft.

I just had to tell a 60 yo man about it recently. Like, how didn't he know he had a grower?

As a woman, I just gotta say, I love a grower. Just looks innocent in the beginning but it's like a whole surprise every time.

I've never understood other women's height fetish in men. I'm 5'5", I've dated guys as short as 5'6", bc they are still taller than me. I don't even care if they weren't, just not a lot of men shorter than me. But exactly what you're saying, why would I fixate on dating a man that is 6'5"? I honestly think it's insecurities on the girl's part. I'm not petite, even at my best weight, I can outweigh my partner. But I don't NEED to feel dwarfed by my partner to feel feminine and sexy. It's just suc…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
