For hobbies I recommend combat sports. BJJ, MMA, Judo, Boxing, MT, etc. When I gained more physical confidence, that confidence translated to all areas of my life including my personal life. It’s also a great way to burn off negative energy and those unhealthy emotions you’re feeling.

I disagree with your use of the word “faggot”. You should delete it from your vocabulary if you want to be taken seriously.

You have a bachelors degree from Loyola. You’re not dumb, and you can get a good job.

Trying to “portray the strong silent type” is a bad sexual strategy. Women are naturally more verbose than men. You’re going to have to talk them. Talking to women should be seen as an opportunity, not something to be avoided. Don’t try to make yourself into some Clint Eastwood-esqe character. Every “ladies man” I’ve ever known was a skilled communicator. You would be better served to work on communicating more effectively.

Sure. In my case there are several factors at work. 1. Training is cathartic. I'm happy when I train and I'm sour and morose when I don't train. I seem to need that release for emotional regulation. Emotions are contagious. 2. I hate lifting and BJJ is the way I stay fit. 3. Socialization. I'm kind of a sperg and it's good for me to get out of the house and socialize. 4. Confidence. I carry myself differently now, and in a way that people respect and find appealing. My brother says I used to slo…

It takes a long time to learn to fight. Years, not weeks or months. Be patient. If learning to defend yourself as cheaply as possible is the goal, consider Judo. Judo clubs are generally run as a nonprofit and fees are minimal. I've been doing BJJ for a year and a half and would recommend it as well. Even though fighting is not a practical skill, women are absolutely attracted to fighters/martial artists. It's the most Alpha shit ever.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
