"He that hath wife and children hath given hostages to fortune, for they are impediments to great enterprises, either of virtue or mischief. Certainly the best works, and of greatest merit for the public, have proceeded from the unmarried or childless men..." -Francis Bacon, Of Marriage and Single Life (1612)

I agree as well. How can one be a "stay at home dad" to some dogs?? She also mentioned "parenting" them.

I used to be quite bitter about how these women could make bank without learning a single useful skill or taking a single class of Calculus. But then I realised that they aren't producing anything, but liquidating what they already have (youth and femininity). It's nothing but a fire sale!

I also find it strange how they separate men into two classes(sexy/cute and ugly). Most men are not sexy/cute, so by their definition most men are ugly?

Most of these women dont understand what their statements imply. When you take the fact that women only find a small proportion of men to be attractive (doesn't really matter what the number is) and the fact that a compliment from an unattractive man constitutes harassment, then the conclusion is that compliments from most men are harassment. This is an obvious contradiction, why can't they seem to get simple logic and common sense?

This crisis is showing the foolishness that feminism always was.

Prey attracts predators. It's just how the world works.

I'm sick and tired of this femicide nonsense. The statistics show that the male homicide rate is about x5 that of women. The common sense conclusion is that SA is a violent country, it has nothing to do femicide.

I agree. She was probably trying to rope him into a relationship but left when she saw that he wasn't interested. I don't see any malice or deceit.

Maternity insurance sounds like good idea, after all it's her body (her choice). Thus the cost should be her responsibility as well.

If most women are like her... I don't want to be a husband.

"Realize and accept that life isn't fair." Agree with this in principle, but in practice you have to be aware that many of life's difficulties are the result of difficult people and there's no good reason to accept them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
