i mean this makes sense considering they preach “life begins at conception” so if life begins then they pay child support then

same goes for all the female nurses, doctors, teachers, lawyers, HR workers, social workers, etc. y'all would die without women. we both need eachother.

as a girl, gay dudes are awesome and i love them. they are usually nicer then frat boys and right leaning men

people rarely go to prison for rape or sexual assault. neither gender is taken seriously
/r/MensRights11/04/25 08:25 PM

no it’s about women being denied the ability to work a job they enjoy and having to do all the unpaid labour

but the thing is you are in shock…. sometimes you don’t even process what happened

It is extremely traumatizing to be raped and it’s hard to go to police or hospital after.
/r/MensRights11/04/25 01:44 PM

both are responsible. the man who came up with the idea, and the woman
/r/MensRights10/04/25 06:19 PM

yes i absolutely do. Fighting is war should be 100% voluntary that shit is traumatizing
/r/MensRights10/04/25 06:18 PM

you can't ignore the fact that a man came up with the idea. obviously the women are still at fault. its like hitlers soldiers listening to him. all are accountable.

this is called multigenerational trauma. very common for indigenous peoples who cycle through addiction

as a girl, i’m really sorry you are going through this. know that there are plenty of women who will support you. you just need to find the right ones. i really hope things get better for you ❤️

it should have always been 50/50, both men and women work, clean, cook, and care for the kids but women don’t want to not cook and clean they just don’t want to have to do it all the time by themselves
/r/MensRights10/04/25 03:04 PM

i’m not going to defend what they did because i think it’s wrong to shame men like that but you can’t ignore the fact that a man developed the idea
/r/MensRights10/04/25 02:56 PM

i think this really depends on the person because my mom makes way more money than my dad and does mostly all of the cooking and like 60% of the cleaning and did more of the child care stuff like packing lunches and getting me clothes while my dad was the person who drove me to school and extracurriculars but that was because my mom was working

they don't expect to be paid, they expect not to have to do it by themselves.

"On 30th August 1914, in the city of Folkestone he organised a group of thirty women to hand out white feathers to any men that were not in uniform. Fitzgerald believed that shaming the men into enlisting would be more effective using women and thus the group was founded, becoming known as the White Feather Brigade or the Order of the White Feather." -https://www.historic-uk.com/HistoryUK/HistoryofBritain/White-Feather-Movement/

how do they expect the man to carry the load? they just expect them to help out with the unpaid labour

thats bullshit
/r/MensRights10/04/25 01:29 PM

im so confused with this. before men would work, and women would stay home and care for the kids and cook and clean. now women and men work and but women also do all the cooking, cleaning and care for the kids and men just go to work and pay bills

how do they discriminate against gays and i mean i don’t think males at birth should compete with women in sports but that’s just cuz they have a biological advantage
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/04/25 08:29 PM

that’s more due to the ethics of it. most women who do surrogacy are poor and it’s their last option. it is also bad for the baby since it bonds with mother in the womb

/r/MensRights08/04/25 12:26 PM

i mean men tend to use deadlier methods but that also illustrates a larger intent to die. where women will likely attempt more than once so that’s why the stats may be higher for women in regards to attempts

i don’t think it’s 100% your fault but it is a little too much that you touched her ass and boobs. next time ask if it’s okay. i would definitely not consider it sexual assault. some people don’t like being touched certain places but are okay with kissing

how was it misandrist to comment on women were denied the ability to fight in war? That was just showing the whole picture of the situation. the reason men are forced into war is due to both misogyny and misandry (mostly misandry). a lot of men think women are as strong and won't be as effective fighting but then they are willing to sacrifice their husbands, boyfriends, brothers, etc. which is misandrist.
/r/MensRights05/04/25 10:10 PM
2

well, in iran and afghanistan, women are forced to wear certain clothing, and in Afghanistan, women cannot leave the house without a man and are denied higher education. so yea men do have privileges
/r/MensRights05/04/25 10:05 PM
2

I'm not misandrist, I think men and women should be treated equally. If men are forced into war, so should women.
/r/MensRights05/04/25 09:51 PM
1

no I was just trying to see the whole picture. I am 10000000% against the draft. no one should be forced into war.
/r/MensRights05/04/25 09:43 PM

wouldn't that be due to the fact that most people see women as the primary caregiver?
/r/MensRights05/04/25 09:30 PM

like in war?

both men and women should face equal consequences wtf
/r/MensRights05/04/25 06:46 PM

yes obviously women are violent too but men are more likely to be victims AND perpetrators of violent crime
/r/MensRights05/04/25 06:14 PM
9

there should be no such thing as a “man’s job” everyone should be able to get the role if they have the skill
/r/MensRights05/04/25 04:50 PM
-4

men are scared of being victims of violent crime by other men, and women are afraid of men. who's the problem here? I think fear is rational, but the actions around it (ex hating men) isnt.
/r/MensRights05/04/25 04:11 PM
-4

i wouldn’t say fear is a bad thing. it just makes people more cautious of their surrounding. when growing up (i’m a girl) my mom always told me stories about women being killed/raped since she watches too much true crime podcasts so now i’m just extra cautious. i wouldn’t say i fear all men though. not because of feminism.

/r/MensRights05/04/25 11:19 AM

the show itself doesn’t. it shows the impact of social media and how societal pressures can negatively impact a boy (ex. how he was bullied for being a virgin).that’s everyone’s fault not just men. the way they are going about the show is bad tho.

So.. please.. explain WHERE you "Proved" that false rape accusations don't ruin lives.. Because you haven't proven anything yet do you really think a fake allegation would ruin someones life if a real one doesnt?

So why did you lie and claim that you said something you never said in the first place? i didn't lie. when did i say it was just women? the OP said fake allegation ruin a mans life and i just proved that was wrong.
/r/MensRights04/04/25 10:58 PM

Except, when you focus on just men.. you are essentially saying its only men.. Thats not true. I was responding to someone saying that false allegations ruin someones life which is mostly not true. Then i stated that i didn't say it was just men which is true. i never said women can't be in the wrong.

“These shows are designed to frame young male singleness as dangerous. Not flawed. Not misunderstood. 1. many shows which focus on the darker side of male experiences are not aiming to create a broad view of masculinity. The depiction of a young, isolated male character spiraling into obsession and violence is not meant to portray all single or sexually frustrated men it is to show how isolation, neglect, and poor mental health can manifest in dangerous ways. 2. The idea that these shows frame male singleness as inherently dangerous might miss the point that such narratives are more about the co…

Women completely ignore the fact that, literally everything - the house they live in, the car they drive, the food they eat, the medicines, the phones/technology they use, the men working hard jobs, science and technology, human advancement are mostly only done by men and still there is no appreciation. Relationships are diverse, and there are many Western women who seek genuine partnerships rather than “stepping stones.” Just as not all men are exploitative, not all women are manipulative. 2. I mean it kind of is but more due to societal expectations associated with gender. Like men are told not to show their emotions so they internalize it and this often leads to rage and aggression. But that isn’t simply because they are a man

The show isn’t saying men=bad. Jamie did not become evil overnight; he became this way due to loneliness, suppressing emotions, and exposure to harmful online communities. There are many times in the show where I sympathized with Jamie, given that he is just a 13-year-old boy. I think that societal expectations regarding men showing their emotions led Jamie to struggle with emotional repression, which caused him to lash out when he was rejected. The show more urges people to create better suppor…

i feel like you guys are missing the point of the show. it isn’t to say men=bad, it is showing what happens when young boys internalize their emotions and turn to negative influencers. Jamie was insecure and society tells boys not to show their emotions so jamie went to the manosphere which presents with some good ideas but also has harmful ones and this negatively impacted jamie. this can happen to anyone - men or women.

Okay I'm just going to make it very clear that not all women think this way. I do agree with some points she made like "it's other men killing men" but i also think its important to acknowledge why men are more likely to commit crimes. Many men are told that they shouldn't express their emotions so they internalize them and this often leads to rage rather than healthy coping mechanisms. If we want men to do better we need to help them do better

You clearly missed the point of the show. It is to show you what happens when we see harmful content online that causes us to go further into loneliness. Andrew Tate stated that "depression is not real" Do you really think that is something a depressed kid should hear?? Another part of the show is that the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child" can also go in the opposite direction. It also takes a village to harm a child. but in the case of a man being attacked, it likely by another man. A woman is less likely to kill a man.
/r/MensRights28/03/25 09:31 PM

i like it’s a weight of risks. worst case scenario for a bear, you die an aggressive death, probably being eaten alive or you escape it vs a man could rape, torture, and murder you or leave you unharmed. it’s just the different between what a human is capable of vs another animal
/r/MensRights28/03/25 09:26 PM
0

for me, I don’t hate men. I love my dad and one of my close friends is a guy. But the context of a man IN THE WOODS makes me say the bear. I feel like the woods is an easy place to hide a body and is a common place for murders. it’s more about fear than hatred
/r/MensRights28/03/25 09:17 PM
-25

being afraid of a man (in the woods) isn’t misandrist
/r/MensRights28/03/25 09:15 PM

i mean it REALLY depends on the type of bear, some bears won’t kill you or they are easier to avoid/move away.
/r/MensRights28/03/25 09:10 PM
-14

you need to understand the context of it. it is a bear in the woods or a man you likely don’t know in the woods. seeing a man in the foods where absolutely no one else is fucking terrifying and the woods are a very easy spot for someone to hide a body. a bear would just kill you, a man could do much worse.

even 13-year-old single boys are depicted as likely to commit crimes, even though the real event had nothing to do with him being single. well if you are referring to adolescence, it was based off multiple cases and was due to him not being able to handle rejection, the bullying, and how he grew up and the content he consumed

Does having laws that differ based on gender make it systemic? Yes, if those laws create or reinforce power imbalances. Example: Laws that restrict women’s ability to own property or require male guardianship (as seen in some countries) are systemic because they legally enforce inequality. What would a fully misandristic (anti-male) system look like? A society where institutions, policies, and cultural norms disadvantage men in a widespread and structural way. Example : Men are consistently deni…

What makes something systemic? It becomes systemic when biases or inequalities persist over time, regardless of individual intent. A single person acting unfairly isn’t systemic, but if many individuals in positions of power consistently act in a way that disadvantages a group, or if institutions are structured in a way that reinforces those disadvantages, then it’s systemic. Is there a threshold of individuals before something becomes systemic? It’s not about a specific number of people but abo…

The traditional gender paradox of suicide is simple: Men die by suicide more often than women, even though women report thoughts of suicide more often and make more non-fatal suicide attempts than men. In fact, the data from research on the subject is quite striking. CDC data demonstrates that men account for over 76% of suicide deaths in the United States each year. The CDC also found that there are 3.3 male suicide deaths for every female suicide death. In contrast, in research studies, women …

/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:37 AM

that post was directed to those who were saying the jamie’s actions were self defense and that it was due to the bullying ignoring the impact of incel culture
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:16 AM

well for that it’s a paradox since women are more likely to express suicidal thoughts but men are more likely to die by suicide
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:11 AM
-1

the #killallmen should not be justified that is fucking awful. and I don’t think men should be put in indoctrination camps that’s ridiculous. both men and women should have all human rights
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:10 AM
1

i want men who is willing to show their emotions. crying should not be looked down upon
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:09 AM
2

no humiliation is never okay
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:08 AM
1

oh that’s weird. no kid should have to stand up during an assembly if anything it should have been private
/r/MensRights24/03/25 11:08 AM

she is an awful person it doesn’t have to do with a man
/r/MensRights24/03/25 10:27 AM

i DO NOT hate men. that is a lie
/r/MensRights24/03/25 10:26 AM

/r/MensRights24/03/25 01:53 AM
2

i’d be happy to hear you prove it
/r/MensRights24/03/25 01:40 AM
0

yes that is a very serious issue that should be talked about but that is not women killing men
/r/MensRights24/03/25 01:09 AM
1

i was not looking for patriarchy. I was saying trauma can negatively impact someone but that does justify their actions. What the guy went through is absolutely traumatic and shouldn’t have happened. It is 100% the mothers fault that she took out her issues on her kid and she should rot in jail
/r/MensRights24/03/25 12:43 AM
3

how so?
/r/MensRights24/03/25 12:42 AM
2

what the fuck that’s NOT okay omg
/r/MensRights23/03/25 11:01 PM
1

what did she say? can you link the video
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:50 PM
2

No it’s okay, I totally understand how you can get frustrated about this. I’ve seen a lot of women get away with saying shit things about men and that is not okay. You have every right to be upset
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:48 PM
0

we are not saying all men are horrible. we are just shining a light on how some men treat women. however, there should definitely be more people talking about how women also treat men poorly
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:47 PM
2

i agree
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:22 PM
3

i don’t support showing the tv show in classes. I don’t think it will help
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:21 PM
-3

i feel like misandry is a response to misogyny
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:20 PM
2

I definitely agree that women should be held more accountable. I’ve seen women get off for saying some really messed up shit and that’s not okay
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:12 PM
1

I am so unbelievably sorry you had to go through that. Your experiences are valid. not all men rape and women should be held more accountable for their actions. You deserve justice for what happened to you. You’re ex girlfriend is an awful for leaving you at your most vulnerable and you deserve so much better. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story and I will try my best to bring more attention to the challenges men face
/r/MensRights23/03/25 10:10 PM
3

please educate me then, i’m not trying to come off as ignorant and genuinely want to support men
/r/MensRights23/03/25 09:30 PM
1

all i said was a women was killed every 3 days, that isn’t incorrect
/r/MensRights23/03/25 09:29 PM
-4

i DO NOT support that. that is not the message that feminists want to send and i’m sorry you have come across that.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 09:29 PM
-19

it is not feminist hate speech, It is about how young boys are becoming radicalized by their communities and how multiple people are to blame.

you missed this part “For both male and female victims, where a suspect had been charged, most suspects were MALE. This was the case in 88% (99) of female victims and 93% (292) of male victims (Appendix table 34).”
/r/MensRights23/03/25 08:23 PM

I can’t speak on behalf of all feminists, but i am totally against forced male circumcision
/r/MensRights23/03/25 08:21 PM

past experiences justified fear, not misogyny or misandry
/r/MensRights23/03/25 08:20 PM

i’m not “pretending” to care. I’m an empathetic person. that is heartbreaking that he had to go through that
/r/MensRights23/03/25 08:16 PM

enlighten me then!
/r/MensRights23/03/25 07:22 PM
-18

I see this constantly on tiktok women trying to justify it by saying things such as "if only a small percentage of snakes are poisonous you still stay away from them" i think this is more about women being scared of men when they're alone, not that they hate men.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 07:18 PM
15

as a women, I will never justify misandry. misogyny and misandry are both awful and should not exist
/r/MensRights23/03/25 07:17 PM
0

oh i’m not trying to excuse her actions, what she did is fucking awful. I’m just trying to explain what might have caused her to do that. in no circumstances is what she did okay
/r/MensRights23/03/25 06:55 PM

oh my god. I am so sorry. You deserved so much better. That behavior is not okay
/r/MensRights23/03/25 06:55 PM

physical aggression does not help
/r/MensRights23/03/25 06:08 PM

I never once said all men are bad. I do not think that.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 06:02 PM

I think society should work on helping young men learn to manage their emotions and that crying is not weak.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:49 PM

I would say abuse in a single mother household may be rooted in trauma and possibly misandry. There is no denying that trauma can negatively influence a person and if you bear the weight of raising a child on your own, that can be very traumatic. And that same power disparity would apply to father and child too, that is just the power dynamic of adults vs children
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:47 PM
2

The thing is you can manage your aggression. human nature isn't an excuse to act aggressively to women and other men
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:43 PM
2

I think the point of the show, at least in my perspective isn't to make women hate men, but just show the influence of misogynistic men on young boys. I can certainly agree that many women treat men badly.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:42 PM
7

Oh yea sorry, you're right!
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:33 PM
-1

I can acknowledge that women can bully men and belittle them. however, men tend to act more aggressively which I think is the problem. I will not say that women are all innocent and there are MANY good men.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:32 PM
-1

yes, there definitely good elements, however, it is important to be aware of what content you are receiving!
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:30 PM
-4

Yes, it is probably a thing, but im not sure how that relates to what I said
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:25 PM
1

okay lets say influencers like Andrew Tate for example, he says that - women should "bear responsibility" for being sexually assaulted - "Women need to be led. They crave a strong, dominant man to guide them.” - “A woman’s worth is determined by her ability to please and satisfy a man.” " women belong to the man.” I would say these are pretty misogynistic
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:24 PM
4

i am a feminist, and I personally do not hate men, I just hate some men who treat women poorly. when I think of feminism I think of equal opportunity for both sexes. Men and women both need each other.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:20 PM
2

the show is based off multiple cases in the UK
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:14 PM
1

men killing men would likely not be due to misandry is typically women hating men but when a man kills another man, a women is not involved and it’s not related to misogyny because the person committing the crime is also a man
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:13 PM
2

the second source is the uk gov
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:11 PM

i’m so incredibly sorry that happened to you. that was NOT your fault
/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:10 PM

i can provide a source to my stat here: https://www.killedwomen.org/ and https://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-pledges-to-protect-more-women-from-violence

/r/MensRights23/03/25 05:00 PM

can you rephrase this question?
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:59 PM
2

yea for sure, here is a link: "Rather than being based on a particular crime or just one person, a sequence of devastating news stories led to the development of Adolescence. Co-creator, co-writer, and star Stephen Graham, who plays Jamie’s dad Eddie in the series, told The Independent, “I read an article about a young boy stabbing a young girl...And then maybe a couple of months later, on the news there was [another] young boy who’d stabbed a young girl, and if I’m really honest with you, they …
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:59 PM

this is primarily because most things have been created for men. seatbelts were originally tested for men, birth control was denied for men because it gave the same symptoms it gave women, men are more likely to receive pain medication than women, women are less likely to get diagnosed with a heart attacks. and feminism is about men and women being EQUAL, not women being above men
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:58 PM
-2

men were granted the right to vote in 1918, for women it was 1928
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:51 PM
-14

i would advocate for 50/50 child support and custody would depend on the circumstances
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:48 PM

misandry means the hatred of men, how would that be related?
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:37 PM
-3

For me, I can totally acknowledge that she bullied him and it was definitely something that impacted him and could have led him to kill her. BUT, I would say the manosphere content had a more significant impact. most of her bullying was calling him out on his misogyny
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:25 PM
-52

misogyny makes it so men feel like they are superior to women, making them more likely to act violently toward women.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:23 PM
-6

the patriarchy is a very real thing. and the fact that you can't prove your point says a lot.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:22 PM
-9

women literally had to fight for our rights! Before 1918 no women were allowed to vote in parliamentary elections.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:22 PM
-31

that is due to women wanting equal rights. if a man and women create a child, they both bear responsibility
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:20 PM
-26

men kill men, men kill women. who is the problem here?
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:18 PM
-33

Misogyny is part of patriarchy, and patriarchy is an institutionalized system of power that pervades social relations. There are individual women who hate men, but there's no corresponding anti-male power structure. There's no systematic anti-male violence being perpetrated by women, and there are no female-dominated governments that deny basic rights to men.
/r/MensRights23/03/25 04:01 PM

give me a news article to prove that then! every 3 days a women is killed in the UK
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:56 PM

/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:49 PM

no, the show is based off multiple cases
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:44 PM
-30

they are not demonizing boys, they are calling men out on their behavior and shining a light on toxic manosphere content
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:44 PM

no they are blaming it on the whole community and the content young boys are consuming. you need to actually watch the show

every 3 days a women is killed in the UK...
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:43 PM

the show is about toxic masculinity and the manosphere content
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:42 PM

the show is based on multiple cases

misandry doesn't lead to men dying
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:40 PM

it is based on multiple cases....
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:40 PM
-36

LOLLL. this isnt make believe. every 3 days a women is killed in the UK
/r/MensRights23/03/25 03:40 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
