I feel like every single conversation goes dry in a day, even if they initiate. My conversation skills are okay, not the best, not the worst and I'm definitely trying. I don't know what to do about it but they definitely haven't invested enough for me to ask them out.

Ah I understand. What does smv stand for?

I feel like this can be of help to me, but what is meant by 'taking social risk'? I feel like I'm the tag-along in this picture.

This sub is just as much about exaggeration as feminist subs.

Without context this is definitely a disproportionate response. I'm starting to think this sub is leaning more to hating women than pussy pass denying.

I don't agree on this, first time sex should be the full experience and should not be all about 'lasting long enough'.

First you say you're so ugly it makes you depressed, then you tell us you're at least a 7/10. What the fuck?

I feel like often doing the same things as you, and it shows. I always know a lot of people and people always think I'm the happiest person alive. However, I never feel like the alpha. I noticed my first impression, without having said a word, isn't that of an alpha. I am quite muscular because I go to the gym, not the biggest guy, but that can't be it. I want to change that but I don't know how.

Aren't there any student associations or activities at your university you can take part in? I live in Holland in a city with a lot of students, I go to a lot of events and because I almost always know some people I have no problem meeting new ones.

Take a look at inspiration albums on /r/malefashionadvice, see what you like and shop the look. No need to imitate someone else's style.

How can you 'have fun' with rejection?

Other than play video games together I think these ideas are awesome!

"Will my life be any different than it was before if I do this?" What do you do if the answer is yes or no? What do mean by different? Positively or negatively?

I often joke about how I can't grow a beard, but I don't think I would go any further than that.

These are all fixable things. You feel like you have been left out, yet you won't take the time to learn something new like playing the guitar, working out or finding a job because social interaction/judgement scares you. This is what is keeping you back and making you miserable. Finding a job, learning to have conversations and learning to play guitar is fun in itself and even more fun when you are seeing results. You will in the end feel so happy that you've overcome your miserable life with y…

Do interesting things, be interesting. That way you won't put too much pressure on yourself when talking to this girl because you know what you are worth even if she doesn't fall for you.

Getting rejected isn't as bad. If she is THAT pretty, it's nothing worth losing sleep over. But if you get that girl, the feeling of success is even better.

You're the only one that can change that. I started working out, playing piano/guitar, picked up programming again and most importantly every time I felt nervous about going up to someone or talking to someone, I immediately did it because I know this was the way I could improve my social skills/overcome social anxiety. Now I can talk to anyone and feel like I contribute to the conversation or the group. You are the only one that can change yourself, so make yourself into someone you love. For h…

I completely agree. Once you know you have something to offer, you can start going out there with confidence.

I got my first kiss at 17 and before that I thought I was not attracting to ANY girl. That girl gave me confidence and motivation to improve myself. I'm still a virgin and have also never had a girlfriend, but in the last year I have had more experience with girls than in the rest of my life. The point I'm trying to make is that it's all in your head and only you can improve yourself and get out there and get the experiences you want, even if you weren't as lucky as me to get the validation I ne…

Thanks for the reply. I really am focusing on doing that. I'm studying something in the neighborhood of medicine, but I also like programming. That's why I'm now making a website for this fraternity-like group with a team of that said group.

I really don't care that much what people think of me. If they don't like me, that's cool. If they think what I just said was stupid, who cares. But you have a mental image of who someone is in the back of your head (this is also why I think looks could make a difference) and I don't think I like the way that impression of me is on others. I'm trying to improve and a lot of things have changed last year, but I feel like I have to improve this 'mental impression' I make on people, and I don't kno…

I thought I was clear in my post that I definitely do go out and socialize, pick up my hobbies, etc. I have no time left because I'm out all the time. I have 2 clubs like fraternities, so I'm busy with that all the time. I know a lot more people at my university than other people do and I get invited everywhere, and every time I go and have a great time. I'm basically living the life I've always wanted to live. The problem is that I feel like I'm living the dream and I still make a 'wrong' impre…

Thinking the problem is with my appearance is a minor thought. I get the idea the problem might be there, because good looking friends have a much easier time making a good first impression. I will keep the advice in mind. Thank you!

I'm still new to this... What exactly are you going to change?
/r/seduction08/12/14 04:22 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
