First off, there is no doubting the intellectual abilities of career girls and indeed females in general. Any man who denies such intelligence exists is a fool. Females may be irrationally emotional at times but they aren't stupid. This is a topic which calls for a little nuance because past rhetoric has leaned heavily on the intellectual inferiority of females. Having said that, I don't believe full time employment of females outside the home is ideal but if the arrangement works out for both p…

I stumbled across an independent newspaper archive site called FultonHistory.com while doing genealogy research a few years back. I found quite a few obituaries, mentions, marriage announcements, etc of my forefathers and foremothers. The site displays the full page and I kept stumbling across these great old articles. I happened upon Popenoe's name one day and when I searched for him I found all these articles. It's fun and enlightening to search for all kind of terms and to read the views of t…

I will tell you, I have never had sex in my life up until that point that rivaled the pure passion that comes with baby-making sex. Amen. You ever have a woman beg for your seed? Say that she wants to have your babies? I've never felt more masculine then when my wife hands me a positive pregnancy test.

Well in your case I commend you. You seem like a decent person who cares about the things that matter in life. It's a shame younger females aren't like you. AWALT shit? Why would I want to fuck this up? Of course, why would you want to fuck it all up? Unfortunately I have seen many females in good relationships choose to "fuck it all up". You'd think longevity would be appealing but something is horribly wrong with the youth today. I'll answer from my data point of one. You have a good thing goi…

Some might wonder why you want to be with a woman if the only reason she stays is because she has no other viable option for survival. I'd say that's a damn good reason for her to behave to stay in line. The answer to both, of course, is that desire isn't rational. It just is what it is. True. Can't argue with that. I would agree, though, that your game has to be much more on point to retain the attraction of a professional woman. True again, and if that kind of women is your thing, then so be i…

I think it's absurd that a man would need government permission to marry a woman. She was an atheist Well there's your answer. The gov never used to be in the marriage business; up until these times it was strictly a religious matter. But as people's assets grew and the church's power waned, someone/something needed to step in and moderate disputes and interpret wills. You say she was "self-supportive" and that she spent her own money on plastic surgery so I'm assuming she had her own career and…

While I'm not a fan of the huge amount of government involvement that fascism and various socialist movements promote, I do see the redeeming aspects of the quotes you chose and I hope that others can focus on the message you are intending to convey and not get fixated on labels. Yea like I said above I'm not necessarily advocating for any particular ideology, I craft my worldview from many elements. I have authoritarian leanings but I'm not a fascist, I have conservative leanings but I'm not re…

Thanks. I did see your link earlier, and its what spurred me to make this thread. I had be thinking about writing it for a while know but didn't know if the atmosphere here was right for it. Western Civilisation has a lot of consistent threads throughout the centuries and even if different eras and subcultures express these values differently, there is still that common foundation. Certainly. That's why I love the Amish so much these days. They live the same way my ancestors in America lived hun…

Bravo. It doesn't take much but consistency is key. I was lucky to have a great dad and great, positive, male role models in the scouts and at school but its kids like you talk about that I feel for. In some ways they don't stand a chance. I'm not saying they should be given up or anything, but how can we expect them to embody healthy masculinity when they've never seen it? Our young boys and men need positive role models badly and I'm glad to see an example out there, good job.

I enjoyed 'family' and viewed being a father as the epitome of masculinity. You no shit have to raise another human, their life is in your hands and to me, that's fucking amazing. I knew I wanted that from a young age and the deepest emotions I have ever felt have come from my kids. This is totally me. Being a father is awesome, its the most amazing thing in the world. I too also knew very early on I wanted kids. I have a solid woman who is completely in line with how I want to raise my kids and…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
