The fact that a man was attacked by a woman does not make this a men's rights issue. The attacker was apprehended and will very likely do time in jail.

Interesting read, but I honestly think (Despite the gay looking Asian popstars you see...they are not the norm here) and I know most everyone here knows nothing about Korea...I just wanted to post this to inform everyone that even Asian cultures are becoming infected by feminism and the entitlement attitude it brings. don't add anything to your point. Blaming this on feminism is so easy and this sub almost makes it feels as if most of the things we have to cope with are all because of feminism. …

Let's face it though, MRAs are kind of looked down upon and posts like these aren't helping our position.

Interesting that you mention this. There's going to be a new show on Dutch television about bad husbands that need to be taught how to behave properly. For some reason, it's only the husband's behavior that's being questioned. I understand why it's done, doesn't make it right though.

It's appalling how often people make jokes about rape in prisons. It's everywhere.

Why do you think people need to be married to have kids though?

I'm still a bit baffled anyone would choose to get circumcised if it's not necessary from a medical point of view.

I myself don't perceive mens issues to be: a women haters club a 100% anti feminist club a let's return to the 19th century club a let's treat women (or anyone) like shit club Neither do I and I don't think my post implies any of these things. And I also don't perceive reddit to be: let's talk about something I saw on facebook club It doesn't say anywhere it isn't allowed, nor did I know it was frowned upon. I learned my lesson.

I might just hop in that discussion to see what people are saying. Maybe I was a bit too 'aggressive' to find anti-men sentiments to add to the discussion here.

Alright, I'm not active in the MensRightsMeta reddit, so I wasn't aware. I'll let the thread die down. Thanks for the feedback.

No need to be so hateful, I just think it's weird that the picture has to specifically mention men being taught to respect women, why not a more general notion of respect? If posts like these aren't wanted here, fine. Could've just downvoted it.

I don't think we hate women, not at all. But the picture singles out that men have to be taught to respect women, what about the other way around? Why not people being taught to respect others?

Nothing is wrong there, but why do they single out men to be taught how to respect women? Why not people to respect people?

As title suggests, what to do? I don't think this person actually has any ill intentions, she's not a raging feminist (as far as I'm aware anyway).

He mentioned that John and Nancy are merely engaged, since he refers to the guy as her fiance.

What if the parents get a divorce and the mother gets full custody without the day wanting to give up his parental rights, did he then abandon his child? I don't think so, yet he still has to pay child support.

How difficult would it be for a single man to adopt a child? A lot tougher than a single woman I presume? And what about love?

'You know that weird adult cousin of yours who’s always out in the yard with the kids, never in the kitchen drinking with the grown-ups? Keep an eye on your kids when he’s around.' From the article, I feel kind of offended by this. I'm 21 and when my cousins come over I usually take 'm to the playground cause their parents don't really want to. I would not like it if they thought anything bad about that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
