Literally every person that’s commented has been nice and encouraging and this kid has totally shut them down without even attempting to hear what they’re saying. Some people need tough love

Whenever I see pie charts for people’s budgets, I wonder why they never include taxes that they pay. A good reminder to think about where a good portion of your earnings go

First off, do NOT kill yourself. All of your problems are temporary. Check out some of Jim Rohn’s videos on YouTube. He has a great way of packaging life and career advice in a simple way. There’s a difference between being poor and broke. Poor is a mindset and way of life. Broke is you just don’t have any money right now. Do you have any family you can ask for help? If you could move home and figure out a way to reduce expenses even more that would be ideal. Try to find a mentor at your new job…

You should read or listen to How to Win Friends and Influence people, that will help you become a better conversationalist. If you keep thinking about sex on the first date and it’s making you nervous and fuck up the date then just drop it and focus on having a good time the first time you see her. People always talk on here about fucking on the first date but it’s not really the norm for most guys. At this point I would suggest just playing it cool and have fun with her, then take it from there…

The Tipping Point was the first book that really got me into non-fiction. Once you get through that one, you will always look at the world a little bit differently

If you haven’t already, you should give Extreme Ownership a read. Two Navy Seals discussing how creating a successful team requires the leader to take complete accountability of all outcomes. Ex - If a team member fails to complete a task correctly, it’s your (the leader) fault because you either didn’t give good enough instructions, pick the right person, prepare them accordingly, etc. Lot of similarities to what this post is about

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
