Each SnapGramInstaFaceChat filter serves to hide a certain flaw. This one hides the nose/chin of the roastie, which she is likely conscious of the size/shape of. In a similar way, I believe there is a “squirrel” filter makes the nose look smaller/“button-shaped”, enlarges the eyes and makes the face more narrow, all meant to make them look more cute/attractive, but just puts them into the uncanny valley for me.
