Apologies, I was just using the case as an example of how culture is beginning to turn on the criminals who cause these tragedies. There is progress on holding bad women to the same standard as bad men.

They weren't wrong, their positions were also underpaid and increased as a result. There were just vastly more men that needed to be adjusted upwards due to an error in the way Google had been calculating wage equality.

Wouldn't be too sure: https://www.washingtonpost.com/crime-law/2019/09/20/michelle-carter-who-went-jail-encouraging-her-boyfriend-kill-himself-is-denied-parole/ I know this is Korea and not the USA, but still, there's no reason to pretend there's no legal possibilities or that most supporters of #metoo would support this woman.
