Yeah, because he had absolutely no idea about self control. He had never learned that. He had been abused as a kid and then taught to fight as a teen and then suddenly became unfathomably wealthy in his early 20s.... he was offered and earned an amazing thing but he had absolutely no wisdom imparted upon him as to how to control a lifestyle like that. I’ve always had dogs. But now that I live alone I just have a cat. She’s the sweetest, loves when I’m around and doesn’t require the constant attention that a dog needs. If I want to hold her she loves it. If I don’t, she loves it. Cats are awesome.

I’m talking about the quality of life and freedom in these other countries. I used to live in a non western country where a thousand bucks a month could allow you to live like a king (relatively speaking). I lived there a year and wanted to come home desperately at the end of the year because the lifestyle in that place sucked. I’m also confused as to what you mean by “you can live off interest with minimal government interest.” What does that statement mean?

I’ve done the math and thought about the things I would like to upgrade and figured out basically that at the age of 35, i would really only need two million dollars to retire and at the very least, maintain my standard of living. If I wanted to buy a newer bigger house with nice amenities, I would need 2.5 million but two million would pay my mortgage and allow me to basically to live my current life with no interruptions until I was about 75-80. Close friends with a teacher in inner city schools... those teachers are supposed to separate the fight physically until the sro arrives and then let them handle it but until they get there, the teacher is expected to do something because those kids won’t stop until someone is seriously fucked up. Teachers wound up getting hit a lot. But, he’s chilling by the pool right now and relaxing for two months so at least he can decompress a bit.
