What do you think a world run by women would look like?I had to share this with all of my 'male oppressor' friends. Laughed out loud the entire clip, | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/06/15 02:17 PM
something better than sex? It's simple, I'm from the political left that believes in a strong government (I'm leaning more towards the welfare state). Leftist does not equal liberal or SJW. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/06/15 11:14 AM
The Tipping PointAlso, the left has an MO of deliberately invading any non leftist space and then using "dialectic" to shift the tone of the space to the left. Any explicitly non-leftist space will be subject to this type of invasion and in order to stay the community it was set up to be has to fight it at all costs I'd say it's a more defining characteristic of the "liberal left" instead of the whole left. I and a lot of friends are from the political left and do not engage in such tactics. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/06/15 06:04 PM
something better than sex?I wouldn't trade my calisthenic routine for some sex. I wouldn't trade my healthy nutrition for some sex. I wouldn't trade the time I have to meditate for some sex. Actually, I wouldn't trade anything that I really enjoy and that composes me as a man for some sex. I guess I don't value sex that much. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/06/15 05:41 PM
What are the effects of women and men not fulfilling their original gender roles. It is, that's the joke. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/06/15 01:06 AM
Why is the redpill subreddit against "shaming language" if it is allegedly amoral? Also, isn't this hypocritical since it constantly shames women and blue pill men? That was clear way before the "shaming language" discussion. No TRPer is saying TRP is a free speech platform. If you post something dissenting with the TRP ideology, you're either downvoted into oblivion or banned. TRP is not about discussing if it's right or wrong, that's what PPD is here for - TRP is about discussing what's the best TRPish ideas and approaches to life. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/06/15 12:31 AM
Why is the redpill subreddit against "shaming language" if it is allegedly amoral? Also, isn't this hypocritical since it constantly shames women and blue pill men?Example: OP posts a field report with useful information to the TRP readers. The majority of the comments are about the morality of OP's actions instead of being about the useful information OP's bringing to the table. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 11:47 PM
Why is the redpill subreddit against "shaming language" if it is allegedly amoral? Also, isn't this hypocritical since it constantly shames women and blue pill men?Yes, you could say it is hypocritical. Whatever. The moral shaming was hurting more than benefiting the discussion, thus it got banned. If it was fitting TRP's narrative or improving the way the message is delivered, then it wouldn't be banned. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 11:21 PM
At what point in a "street harassment" situation would you agree that the guy is overstepping his boundaries? Is there any point where you'd side with the woman? The "hey nice tits" reference was just because it is a typical line that clueless low SMV men use. The only times I felt confortable using this kind of shit approach was at night clubs, where it worket to a certain degree, but I digress. The thing about street harassment is that when most people talk about it they picture that 40-50 low SMV sweaty fat male saying "I'd bang that ass all night" randomly to hot girls at the street. When such lines come from high SMV males, most woman would still co… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 10:35 PM
At what point in a "street harassment" situation would you agree that the guy is overstepping his boundaries? Is there any point where you'd side with the woman?Anything that is not an approach and has no goal other than asserting your "manliness" and getting a little ego boost (?) could be considered harassment when coming from a low SMV male. I'd consider every example you gave there as harassment. What is not harassment is trying to chat up someone - pretty much day gaming. I'd not consider harassment most approaches that have the goal of obtaining the girl number. Again, if you have really high SMV you can get away with any kind of shit and end up w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 10:22 PM
TRP is a safe space for male narcissists; "Male sexual strategy" is how they get their Narcissistic SupplyThe banning of broknighting has much more to do with the fact that it wasn't contributing to the discussion at all. Shaming someone because your moral code says that what they did is wrong does not aggrandize any particular TRP concept or discussion, and thus could even be considered off-topic in TRP. A valid way of discussing this would be pointing the real threats a man faces when cheating his SO or being the lover of a compromised woman. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 09:52 PM
What A Typical Man FacesDefine overly nice and "that" nice? People shouldn't feel they need to buy shit for them, why are they doing that? Boys are doing that because they were taught to be overly nice to girls. And I won't explain that with some huge social scheme like other TRPers do - it's just basically what family members teach boys from the get go, at least the majority of them. My family, the family of my friends, the family of men I barely talk to, the family of most TRPers - the message is the same, be very ni… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 09:19 PM
What A Typical Man FacesUmm, so boys and men just can't be nice to people because they're good human beings? Notice I used the word overly before nice. No boys nor men would be that nice to a woman they have no chance with if they actually knew they had no chance with them. One thing is saying good day and having healthy conversations, other is being an emotional tampon and literally buying shit for them. And yes, you might be the problem, so let's join a hate group to make the problem worse. So now we come to the poin… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 06:41 PM
What A Typical Man FacesAlthough this is a massive bait, I'll bite it. This time. Women don't owe you anything because you're a decent human being to them. The point is: boys wouldn't be overly nice to them if they knew it doesn't get them laid. That doesn't make them entitled pricks, it just make them normal people that like to mind their own business more than being overly nice for no reason. Maybe it's YOU. Good! Now let boys try to improve themselves with TRP advice so that they are no longer the reason. Prove it. … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 06:01 PM

Did feminism make things better for men?Sure they were, but at least they were fighting reasonable enough causes, whether we agree with such causes or not. Right now the fight is for privilege, wich is what drives more and more people away from the movement. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 01:03 AM
Did feminism make things better for men?I believe that feminism has made society better for everyone Good thing you know how to use the past tense. Most people that criticize feminism have no problem with the first and second waves. They are criticizing the third wave and their extremist and unnecessary BS. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/15 12:56 AM
Do Red Pillers prefer girls who have had less sexual partners because they're afraid they won't be able to satisfy girls who have had more?Well the "alpha widow" concept could be interpreted this way. I wouldn't say afraid. It's a logical conclusion: you can't be delusional, there are men out there who are better than you. The more men a woman had inside her, the more likely it is that one of them was better than you are. Thus, the "alpha widow" concept. Could you satisfy her? Yes. But it's better to satisfy her while being considered one of (if not the one) her best fucks than living on a greater alpha's shadow. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/15 11:19 PM

Will TRP ever grow up?I gotta love how criticism of TRP always involve shaming to some degree - "growing up", "maturing" in this case. Even when it doesn't come from BP or women in general. It is very pretentious to say that every true alpha should be altruistic, but I see the point of OP. It comes from a perspective in wich matured followers of the manosphere wouldn't hate on betas and women. | 6 | Question for Red Pillers: Why do you have feminism so much if you view it as just another kind of sexual strategy, like TRP?Being happy with each other has little to do with being on the better end on the SMP. It's about the ease things happen to that side, the few resources it has to spare to aquire ends and the abundance of new options that side has. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/06/15 11:21 AM
Question for Red Pillers: Why do you have feminism so much if you view it as just another kind of sexual strategy, like TRP?I don't think I would like to have to put a massive effort to "find" any casual fling every now and then. SMP is not only LTRs. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/06/15 11:14 AM
Question for Red Pillers: Why do you have feminism so much if you view it as just another kind of sexual strategy, like TRP?Feminism teaches women how to be on the better end of the sexual market transactions. TRP teaches men to be on the better end. It's clear why one does not get along with the other. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/06/15 10:58 AM

Can we create a coherent list of red pill beliefs? Then the same applies to feminism and to political parties. I've seen the same thing happen. The same "well but this particular person do not represent the whole movement!". Yet, we can discuss those things, because people get the fundamental concept of it, and refrain from cherrypicking extreme cases. And the way to understand the fundamental concepts of TRP is reading the side-bar and reading more of the upvoted content and related texts. | 5 | Can we create a coherent list of red pill beliefs? So I was hoping for something more coherent and concerted, something I could point to as "TRP's fundamental belief is this.... but I don't agree with it because X and Y" You aren't going to find that. Like I said, TRP is composed by it's contributors. If I wrote "TRP's fundamental beliefs", someone else could just point "I am a TRPer and I don't agree with this and this, thus your set of fundamental beliefs is wrong". | 2 | How does physical attractiveness/masculinity correlate to good genes? Which is more important? It may have done back in the day, but with the advanced medicine and egalitarian societies we have today people with inferior genes can lead long, relatively normal lives, and their genetic inferiority won't put them at a significant disadvantage. The past few thousand years in wich those evolutionary traits have had their impact minimized represent nothing compared to the history of evolution. | 1 | How does physical attractiveness/masculinity correlate to good genes? Which is more important?I usually call BS on evo psych, but I'll try to put on it's cowl and try to explain: Evo psych would say that there is no need for woman to be "aware" of genetically transmited diseases, evolutionary speaking. Natural evolution already takes care of that - the "gating" of those genes would be done by the environment itself after a couple generations. The traits that woman perceive as attractive - muscular mass, "alpha personality" (high levels of testosterone) - are the evolutionary traits that … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/06/15 02:05 AM
| 9 | Can we create a coherent list of red pill beliefs? If you cherrypick something out of TRP, unless a mod deletes it or it gets massivelly downvoted, it is part of it. The point here is many users won't identify with all of TRP, and many will feel unrepresented when you cherrypick certain posts and comments. I call BS on both sides. TRP is free for anyone to contribute, wich creates both problems: no one is going to believe in 100% of what is posted there and you are going to eventually cherrypick absurd things. | 17 | Can we create a coherent list of red pill beliefs? This might be worth a separated thread: Could people stop trying to discuss TRP without understanding it? If you want to come to PPD, at least try reading the TRP side bar. This is a discussion sub. Being here denotes that you have a good understanding of TRP, it's criticism and want to take part in the discussion. This is not the place to learn about TRP. Calling people names comes from anger. Me and a lot of friends are not sexually frustrated and still use the terminology 'slut', although not with hate or anger as I stated. It could just be replaced with "woman with a high partner count", but a 4 letter word is easier. Yes they're standing in your way. According to trp they're monopolizing the women. First, it's not just the ones that had sex with "them"; the ones that had sex with "me" and "them" could also be classified under this. Yes, sluts. We don't hate on them. The fat cats who automated men's jobs and left you scraping or unemployed. I do. See my flair. I don't discuss this type of thing here because it would be way off-topic considering the main focus of TRP is sexual strategy. The guys who laughed at those who weren't sports stars at school. | 12 | I think that men can and do get their own satisfaction out of the sexual market place when they marry but then use escortsThe usual stereotype would be the beta husband in a dead bedroom marriage, who is pissed that his wife isn't putting out as much as she used to/as much as he always wanted her to. He can't realize his position in the AF/BB dynamic and how sexually undesirable he is to his wife. He then resort to escorts and whatnot to fulfill his sexual needs. Just a beta dynamic. Alfa: The man leads, seeks his dreams, work his best to seduce his partner. The woman flows with him, seeks her dreams, responds to his sexual drive accordingly. (Only applying to those who are ok with LTRs in the first place)We had a couple threads in TRP discussing this very matter a few weeks ago. The opinions differ among TRPers; some say you should cheat on your wife and backstab other males getting their woman whenever it's possible. Others say that you should hold your moral ground, despite how fucked up the sexual market is nowadays. This time you won't get a solid answer on what is TRP's stand. | 5 | Is TRP sexist? That is not accurate. In our perception (the ones that answered things in those lines) women don't have the traits we would look for rationally in a relationship. It means that, under our perspective, men would be better than women in that sense. | 1 | Is shaming women for their bodily appearance (overweight or underweight) constructive? Why or why not?I was pondering about addressing that in the previous reply - BMI doesn't apply to people who have a really high amount of muscular mass. It is properly used with about 90% of the patients, wich day-to-day activities range from 0-2k MET (metabolic equivalents, 500 MET would be 30 mins of moderate exercises 5 days/week for reference).
