You're very lucky. It sounds like they were open to experimenting and willing to listen to your input, which is great. My friends daughter just proposed a new custody arrangement and they both were willing to try it. I find that so refreshing. I feel like the only thing harder than missing your parents and bouncing around must be the lack of control for kids whose parents can't with together or won't listen to the child.
