In all fairness, my penis did effectively rip the shit out of her nether areas on a delayed timer. And she still came back for more!

No joke. I was specifically leaving her because of mental illness related to ego too.

My now ex called me gay in the same breath as saying I only wanted her for her body when we were going through a divorce. Really gets your noodle turning, ya know?

“...lady.” Gotta keep the sentence balanced.

As soon as “defund...” became a talking point, I knew the movement was dead. It’s not obvious what it really means and is too easy to attack through reasonable sounding straw-man arguements. Especially since many people on the defund side would have a different interpretation of what was needed. In politics, if you’re explaining, you’re losing. And liberals have a huge history of losing due to really poor, convoluted, and non-unified messaging.

Oh fuck off. She was clearly in the wrong and I’m as liberal as you can imagine without being a parody. Facts matter. Idiots screaming on the internet don’t. The police system is completely shit and lead to lots of abuse of power and senseless deaths, but that doesn’t mean they’re always in the wrong.

Honestly, I see your initial confrontation as fine but leaving to crash at someone else's house and then not coming home till she begged you sufficiently while giving her the silent treatment comes across a bit like a tantrum. It's not a sustainable model. Sure it scares her into subservience for a short while but you escalated the situation far too much and lost frame doing it. Better would have been to matter of factly state your expectations, how she violated them and carried on with your day…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
