Seems like she was genuinely kind, empathetic and you mentioned all the good experiences she provided to you + times when you were being a jerk. But you didnt mention the times when she was being a jerk - probably it wasnt big enough or consistent enough? She did tell you that you were becoming a jerk - assuming thats how you remembered and mentioned it here. Until this point, she cant remain all good to everyone around her without extreme seldom sacrificing in order to tc of others. Theres no w…

He doesn't love you clearly. He is looking for a woman to wife up. His responses seem hes misogynist and patriarchal even if he succeeded in hiding that part from you in these past few months. you're easy to impress = aka i dont have to cat3r to her or put more effort into her. You putting in financially to shoulder his responsibility = even better. He can load you with more stuff. A textbook segment of man who thought he needs to be the sole provider and impress women and take effort for them t…

Rightly said. There is a reason lust is given a separate word and is not called love or care. Caring is expensive, requires sacrifice and first high EI yourself. Lust is easy. Mechanical, you push the right buttons and get the effect. No emotions, care required. Short investment. But the high is do loud that it eclipses the need of constant care

Was waiting to get to the part where he turns out to be a scammer, but he probably caught on someone else. Youre saved, hes a literal scammer - only trying to prove that hes actually a millionaire by doing things no person with money does that is put it in your face

Mother of your 3 kids in a comfortable married life simply decided one day to get up and quit? For her career, to find herself, infidelity, grown apart from you, etc, nothing like that? this sounds rare. Some husband get blindsided by sudden divorce when wife has been telling them to course correct since yrs and comes a point when she gives up. Aside that, same thoughts as yours. It takes 2 to make a partnership and 1 to break anytime for valid or no reason at all. Its very fragile and unstable.…

Why not just be yourself? Learn to make a unit. This is same as how to catch a man / how to get the woman in bed is yuck. Doomed from get go. What's the point in doing things that you don't like, to please him and if he isn't pleased, then you annoy him with all the efforts you put in assuming that would make him feel good since it did last time. Be natural. If you don't know healthy relationships, read up on them rather than using tactics to grab him/her by love bombing.

That is an ideal scenario but it also has be ground reality and not just make believe. And if reality is known, belief accordingly solidifies. questions her husbands decision making, doesn't see him as a leader and snaps at him over small things. If the husband's actions end up as a loss, then she's not wrong (though if insignificant things, it wouldn't matter unless either one has ocd or abusive traits). If it were ego or competition to put him down when things fared well, that would be an issu…

You two seem flexible, open, willing to make your marriage work = that's a core ingredient and right attitude for a long married life. "Submit " is a recent pop word I've come across where the wife has to Submit- woman in case of hetro, whichever man is filling the wife's role for gays. From the post, it seems OP also consumed the videos of "trad wife" , "protector provider husband" where wife has no final say and gives her 2 cents which aren't appreciated etc. In reality, provider- protector - …

To do or not to do bj is a bandaid to the actual wound - 1. You have unhealed issues and you're trying to balance relationship with it. It will work beautifully if he is in with your issues and actively helps you to heal them by repeating positivity and reinforcing trust and care. How does he respond to your issues? Ignores, silent about then let's you deal with it, uses them against you in fight, or actively helps you by reading up on solutions and doing the steps to heal you You need to read u…

Perfect couple. A go getter (any gender) is popularly valued much more than a non commercial baker. It shows the stark difference between reality and what is fed through media. That's anything but submission. That's bliss, epitome of each doing what they truly love. You both have found your soulmates, better halves.

Not an overreaction. Seems like you're living in with a bestie and doing 90% of roommates stuff. Is there intimacy and emotional connection, when did romance go out of the window? You are exhausted with work and house and he's living a separate life with things done for him so fills empty time with bachelor things like games and corn. This doesn't seem to be a relationship but roommates living with one over burdened with a non participating roommate. Relationships are like elastic, the more one …

In that case he got a reality check. He would've hoped he would get better options than you and is still trying to grapple with reality. Plus his controlling issues and your independence through his open marriage thing. You could've worded the post holistically and posted under marriage. It seems you may have been in a toxic marriage and open marriage or not, should reconsider your life and freedom and needs from him as a husband and boundaries.

Although this is fantastic, dont mistake these experimces in ST, no responsibilities attached to be as is in LTR. Also, the same experiences could be felt through different social circles and friendships and knowing about other couples sans the sxual intimacy. These people wanted to know you beyond wife and mother because they don't want the wife or mother rolenpit of you. The safe space to express could be less about them being like that kn LTR unless you landed a gem who's like that with every…

If she was a man, she would already had 50:50 split since day 1 even before marriage + minimum 2 kids with wife quickly resuming work post delivery. But since she's a woman she carried it all on her shoulders with no financial contribution from husband.

I was watching Olympics and many activities were included as sports events like group dancing in pool to music, etc. While actual sports with skills is sidelined like polo, cricket etc. But that isn't limited to Olympics, it's a mere reflection of society. The qualities earlier generation had are non existent and the only things people work on today are finding good cafe, getting a good beer etc. Communication is absent, finance and family skills are absent. If communication is worked on, 70% is…

It's not an angry comment. Several tradwives have been/are in your position. None of what you wrote is new. Just search about how tradwives lives fared out, its all over the internet and news. Best is to do your own search without thinking about the colored lens others maybe looking from. And that guy is a 🚩

"He pays for loans to his property". Of course. Do you want to pay off other people's debt and get them their property for free? You are not ready for a relationship, you have many basics messed up. And he's a very insecure guy. He's already thought of divorce and is keeping his money, his properties, the contract of servitude to himself. He knows exactly what to do when he gets a divorce. And, he wants his kids out of his err surrogate and pay up for her services and kick her off later when he'…
